maybe but vp does the same, its hard to buy clothings if youre new and dont have any credits. so ppl have to buy credits

we were basically an idea-farm, we got wrung dry, not compensated, told "this is going to be a great year for gosumermodel!" and strung along for months before being abruptly shut down.

I found so many emails while digging through an old acct last night between me and watagame staff
they implemented so many suggestions from me, that I was essentially farming from the cosmo server and my experiences growing up on similar websites
I even found emails where they asked me to go to other doll sites and screenshot their payment pages for them.

Not that I wasn't happy to help at the time, it was my community - but looking back they were adults exploiting the labor of children, and they let this go on up unil the minute they shut us down. 
it all of course started with my help site lol - early on they sent me "teaser" images to share on my website, back from when the site redesign first happened.  They played the long game to make us feel special and we fell for it cuz we were children.

Honestly they did English speaking members of the site dirty and I can't forgive them for us.

Their 'compensation' from moving to the UK server to the cosmo server was 'oh you can keep your VIP and level but nevermind your wardrobe with all of your rares that you've collected over the last few years'.

Then all of the sudden about idk, 3-5 months after myself and a few others became mods they suddenly bought down the hammer that Cosmo was gonna close. 

No suggestions about transferring to other servers like they did with the UK server, just meh tough shit start over again.

They did us dirty. Really dirty. 


I mean I'm all for the hype and the nostalgia, but I just can't.

Yeah from a business standpoint I understand why they wanted to merge the two sites,
but if their reasoning was that the website was "too small to keep open" then that implies to me, there were few enough active members that they could have individually transferred the kids shit over. 
Like "sign up by this date or its a no go" would be a fair compromise
but just "lol sucks to be you" wasn't cool

you need to be more tactful when dealing with actual children

jk i found another string of emails from march of that year where I helped troubleshoot problems

the refund emails start in may of 2012
