yea, i think it's wild. i used to b a volunteer mod for a site w active user count of ~5000 ppl and they never even asked my first name. volunteer modding isn't or at least isn't supposed to be that serious. it's different if u get paid

I have mixed feelings about it. like i guess it's good for them to know who does such an important job for them... like so they know they don't give the task to a idk a convicted pedo or something. but the whole process with the video interview??? like that's paid work stuff.
