ig it depends on how it is expressed idk, my family view me as very smart bc i act like this but i also dont necesarily believe im smart, i think a lot of people who do the confidence makes me smart thing actually also believe theyre smart and then it sorta clashes which exposes them more idk

i will say though that seeming smart falls apart as soon as u do ur own research on things then its like damn this person is just a court jester

i think quietly correct is more a marker of intelligence than loudly wrong
mmmmmmmmmmm i suppose you're right

still it's fascinating to see how so many people will follow one person because of their loud confidence whether they are truly smart or not
