nyx face glue (if ur looking for a grippy primer)

ngl i dont understand grippy primers brain is like,, foundation sticks on your face anyway? but i might have to try it to understand lol
im always just looking for blur primers to cover my pores, thats what any primer should do im my brain
it sticks so much better idk how to explain

uh do you use concealer or foundation over blur primers.... cause blur primers are kinda known for turning crumbly with other products, since its apparently to be used without other makeup or something???

i need to read up more on the blurring primer thing, but i saw several makeup artists on tiktok (i know, i know) say that they usually behave very poorly under face makeup... ive used the porefessional one from benefit and it was just a crumbly horrible mess

that sounds hella stupid
blur primer works fucking great under foundation for me (when it doesnt act weird)
I have very prominent pores and w blur primer i dont have to worry abt the foundation getting into the holes looking all disgusting

i tested a few primers on my hand the other day and i just got horrified by all the non blur primers bc they made the texture of the skin SOOO visible i had to run away imagining what horrors it'd do to my pores asdfg

to answer question above i rarely use concealer at all, it's just too much coverage (shush i hear how that sounds lol)

OHHHH NOW i understand grippy primers!

"if you have dry skin or if you are extra porous or mayby if your foundation tend to cling inbetween your brows, something like a sticky primer is really really good because it creates that layer on your skin that's a little bit tacky and gives your foundation something Else to stick to rather than your skin"

"dont think of them as beneficial because it grips your foundation, think of them as beneficial because of the layer they create over your skin"

okay so maybe a grippy primer is what i need and not a blur afterall
