Because I have an open instagram, people could find my information anyways, I've appeared in newspapers multiple times, people can find my information there, I'm active as a trustee in a labor union, so my information is public there. Frankly, I don't care if my picture is posted on an official instagram account, because I've been present in marketing campaigns earlier, and I don't see how it will be more dangerous to be a moderator with an actual image, than voicing my political opinions publicly, given my stance (:

giving up ur name is bad enough, but leaves options. depending on ur name, there can be hundreds with the exact same name as u. u can even fake your name. but giving ur face locks ur identity
i understand publishing every second of our lives has become normalized thanks to internet, however i would still practice caution. i'm not sure if any of the chosen mods are underage, however that is a whole separate concern, esp depending on how gsm contracted them
