Right now the sims 4 is still very busy being expanded, so probably not anytime soon.
But I wouldn't be surprised if a sims 5 would come, however probably not before the capacity of sims 4 is met.

Ah, you're probably right. I've wanted to buy it for ages, but didn't want to if there was about to come a new version. Perhaps when I'm done with my exams.

Any new (important) things I should know about? Is the Sims 4 worth it compared to the older editions? I know you can move around the neighbor hood now. That's pretty cool.

Yeah, but it's definitely not an open worlds still.
Whether it's worth it or not is very subjective. I personally really like sims 4, but I only ever really build in it. I have no interest in anything else there.
It does have some ups and downs really

I prefered designing houses too. However, I always ended up using the same things, because I didn't think there was a lot of pretty inventory to choose from.

I often think it would be so cool if they turned the Sims into an online world where you had the option to play with others. I feel like I would definitely buy it then. I don't know how it would work though. My bf often plays online games with his friends. I WANT TO PLAY THE SIMS ONLINE WITH MY FRIENDS TOO.
