I actually got started with crochet by making kippot with embroidery floss and a 1mm hook. I never finished one though, they take so long and they hurt my fingy
ive never used anything smaller than 2mm but ive always loved tiny details so im thinking i would love it

Me too, kippot just take way too long to make and are kind of boring, it's just a circle really.
