No i was thinking more in long term when I wrote that Utdatert wrote:
Ok but what if we stopped buying things from for instance China? The people who work to make cheap clothes will not have anything to live off because they basically live to produce cheap items to sell to international customers. People buy and eat meat and if everyone stops doing that the farmers will have a huge problem as well because they have too many animals now, and they were dependent on the fact that people bought their meat. Now the farmers would have cows that will get fake pregnant and milk that is going to waste, because everyone is going vegan these days. The world somehow goes around like this. The world is and has always been constantly evolving and changinh, slowly but surely. It was made like idk a trillion years ago (dont come for me on this cuz i have no idea) and it has evolved since then. It used to be dinosaurs and then monkeys. The dinosaurs died and the monkeythings turned into humanbeings. That is already because of a (climate) change. Our world will keep on evolving and changing. Maybe faster than people had imagines, but it will happen no matter what humans try to do to stop it. We have known about this matter for years. Our grandparents and parents knew about this, and its not our new generations responsibility to take action. It was going to happen sooner or later. Everything changes. No one freaked out about this in 2008? Why not? Now that is 2019 people suddenly act like they have 1 second left to live before the world explodes. It wont.
But do you seriously believe everyone would stop eating meat overnight? that's a pretty weak argument. if it happened over a long period of time (as it would if that would ever happen) demand would go down slowly they wouldnt suddenly be stuck with a farm full of animals and no one to sell to bc why would they make sure they have so many animals when the demand doesnt cover thatOk but what if we stopped buying things from for instance China?
