I still fucking hate roosters, then again one of ours attacked me when I was little cause they're fickle ugly bastards n drew blood
meanwhile hens are really chill
Then again I'd deal with a rooster any day compared to a male goat; if you want to talk about nature's absolute biggest mistake
????? can't relate
i gave food to one of the hens that was low in the pecking order before one that was higher and she bit me in the finger ouch.
our current rooster is a pretty chill dude tho, the one before ... not so much
i used to feed the goats for my neighbour and they told me the trick is to give the male goat food first and to not touch the baby goats, it worked out pretty well, i even managed to pet him.
Oh you can definitely pet them, they aren't necessarily aggressive just very nasty
I have a lot of experience with goats, we even raised ones who acted like dogs since they were orphans we fed ourselves
they're actually very intelligent and sweet but the males (who aren't neutered or anything) are absolutely grotesque
Basically in order to attract females they pump out this awful smell all over their body and it's in their fur and they're incredibly horny (no that's not a pun) to the point where they'll get excited v easily and harass even humans (ladies better watch ouT) the smell thing is the worst, you can't pet one or feed it or go 10miles near it without showering after
Their way of playing is also to headbutt you and it's a little less cute when they've grown massive n their stinky and horny 24/7 (no not a puN damn it)
