yea it's a shame, but all russian state broadcasters were indefinetly suspended from ebu so i guess it's pretty permanent
i wonder if belarus will return, their suspention expires in july

wait so even if the war will be over they won't come back???

not unless one of their broadcasters rejoin ebu and they were suspended for a reason, apparently they were breaching the membership requirements left and right so i dont see that happening unless smn in russia changes very fundamentally tbh

it was probably cuz bashar murad entered but turns out his song is quite plain so

you can just count on the ukrainian entry being awesome, i didnt like their song either last year, but then they revamped it and put on a great show and it ended up being one of the most impactful performances of the night, sorcery

I have been saying that to my fiance they could've won in 2020 if it wasn't canceled or 2021 but they felt like they got enough exposure from it to let another artist try, manizha was aight but little big would've got a win for Russia
then again

I honestly think Russia would've been respectful and played into how the Eurovision format is in Sweden, if they'd gotten the host position due to winning. It's good for tourism and it's good for their image.

Little Big would def have had the chance to win Eurovision. I also think Iceland would've placed well that year.

I don't think it would've, more so it would get them more fans as that was a certified Eurovision classic
