to be fair until women were actually paid more decently for the work they did (women have always worked, but that doesnt mean they were paid or paid anywhere near what we now consider the bare minimum ig?), it made a lot of sense for men to be the ones who paid for stuff (bc they were the ones who actually got any money...)

n also i do agree that based on how we are socialized and us being born into a patriarchal world, we are possibly more likely to act a certain way based on what behaviours we are directly or indirectly taught . i think its quite obvious looking at criminal statistics, of course ( n in criminology we do agree that being a man makes you more likely to commit crimes overall, not because being a man on itself is a risk, but because the way men tend to be socialized allows them to overlook certain actions n behaviours as ok or as if theyre entitled to behave that way)
overall i believe having a black n white view on what men and women are does nothing for us, it just makes it look like its in someones nature to act a certain way, and ignores other aspects that also contribute to how we perceive and how we interact with other people and with reality itselfĀ
