Do you think there should be rules where the governments and military at war(s) is enforced to protect the environment? It's often overlooked when we think about war, overshadowed by the toll of human lives. Yet, many wars root in disagreements over natural resources like water. People get cancer and defects from the use of radioactive materials and toxins in weapons. Wildlife goes more rapidly extinct, and extinction (biodiversity loss) is a worldwide trend.

26.07.18, Vox. Scientists want to make it a war crime to damage the environment in a conflict.

If you need it restored, figure what made you lose it and put your action in changeing that part of the world.

I am all in for saving the earth, and I do lots myself for it - but I also believe it is too late, despite my effort and many others. Doesn't mean I give up, no. But I do believe it is too late

That's fair. I hope it is not but I also am pessimistic about it which I try to turn into hope through what I do.

I'm not sure if they are good since they root in a distrust in people with the right power to make the changes that needs to happen in time.
