long answer, tut and parrot made a site entirely inspired by vp if not an exact ripoff using users n designers that had came from virtual popstar (parrot used to hack on here and tut loved the site so she got her bf to develop it) preying on the people who wanted actual reform and were highly against the exploitative snake oil peddling admin known as k#j that no longer is part of things here 
they treated the people who helped truly make what it is like dogshit
especially the artists n designers
they decided to leave all of them in the dust once they had what they needed
as a whole they found themselves marketing to literal children on tiktok and instagram so the community became quite bad instead of the more matured one it started with
 allegedly both became essentially millionaires off those ppls backs and sold it off like it was nothing to a company known as pocket worldz which owns highrise - an unabashed gambling game that also treats it's users like garbage and exploits them to horrific extents with essentially zero decent free content even though without their userbase they would be nothing and they will make them run ads for maybe 1 gold when you need at least 500 for anything

some examples of people integral to the site that they treated like dogshit, didn't fairly compensate despite having ample ability to : ad0xa, helmi (minor), rowan

even though it started as a for the users by the users situation where the users themselves were the pillars of everything and were extremely involved in the development process; everskies is sincerely a steaming pile of garbage with pretty clean aesthetics to hide it all 

now you can't breathe on everskies without a permanent ban that they will not repeal even if you are generally unproblematic and it's an extremely toxic community that will also misconstrue things, all of the games are broken, and they sincerely do not give a shit about the site or the people on it aside from milking money and free labor out of them whenever the opportunity strikes

there is no upper age limit, just keep in mind that the site is 13+ so there are minors here. the majority of the userbase is in their late teens to mid twenties.

I censor myself as bad as an old Victorian granny, so I don't think I'll endanger any minors.  I hope not.  How does one get a mentor?
