Which also is my exact point. Thank you for really laying it on thick. How will they economically survive this time around? By their paying adult userbase, the ones reviving the website, or by some good marketing, where some of the userbase will end up being the EverSkies userbase, where they'll have demands they either give in to - or the users go back to the website with owners that don't have a backbone?
I'll wait and see. I'll make a user, be greatly dissapointed by the website not living up to nostalgia, and then we'll see what happens. I might stay, be a part of an active community, and then throw money after them, or I might just come back here. I'm sorry to be a downer, but the fact is that the website has closed down once due to lack of money and funds, and I can't see how they're going to not end up there again the things they've written, which just seems to be nostalgia bait.
i think you're being too negative. worst case scenario we don't get our old and beloved gsm back but that's what we thought when the website closed down in 2016 too. it might turn out great, or it might not happen at all in the first place.... but throwing a few pennies at gsm in hope that it will come back won't hurt me anyways. i'm hopeful
