Yes, it is me again with another sad question.

Anyway.

Do you think a favourite person ever goes away?
The moment my past FPs come back into my life, I can feel the same intensity and emotions come back, and It fucking sucks, it feels like I won't be able to ever have a normal relationship to them ever again.

i don't have bpd but i had this friend in my life i was so so so attached to (in a platonic unhealthy way) and who i cried about for what i suppose was two years after we stopped being friends. the friendship was not the healthiest and very on/off, i can def relate to what you wrote. what helped me was to get an end, a proper, never again being friends or seeing each other kind of an end to our friendship. that and time, a lot of it. i still miss him but not every day or even week. i don't write him imaginary letters in my head or wonder about the what-ifs. i think you'll stop missing the ppl who used to be in your life with time and experience but i also think that requires that definite end

But I WANT to have normal friendships with them, because they mean the absolute world to me. I literally can't live without them in my life, lmaoooo
