I cared for this sassy princess for 6 1/2 months and she passed away at only 55 (coming up on 56)
She liked to make jewelry, color, call for elk, tie dye shirts, hug, have tickle fights, play softball, and she adored disney, musicals, anything pink, diet coke, The Beach Boys and animalsĀ
She was one of the sweetest and pure-hearted people I've ever met. She developed dementia young as a consequence of downs syndrome and had brittle type 1 diabetes yet she was still so hopeful and had a genuine love for and deep relationship with Jesus. She told me, "thank you," and "take good care of me" regularly and I really appreciated it.Ā
I miss her but she's at peace now. Watching her deteriorate as her dementia progressed was heart wrenching but she's no longer suffering. I'm glad I knew her.
I wish I could show her obituary ):Ā
