norways public transport is almost entirely built on busses and ferries and they operate within different systems in each region which is very stupid. i have like 6 different public transport apps on my phone and ive only been 2 places aside for my own region, but i needed 4 seperate ones for local transport in 3 regions and 2 for long distance travel in between those regions who thought this was a good idea i dont understand
anyway to answer your question, in urban areas its decent and relatively reliable as long as your route is uncomplicated, expensive of course but with good discounts for students, elderly n families. in rural areas you drive or you suffer
Oh rip ur storage I have 1 app from national trains and it also shows regional trains from other companies and busses which is great for me
but yes i can imagine that rural norway is annoying w public transport bc ur not very densely populated either
see now that makes sense
yea lol throwback to last year when where i lived there were two buses going all day, if i missed my bus i missed school entirely, and when going back home i either had to leave early or wait for hours fun tiems.
but i was also usually the only passanger so what can you do, having empty buses driving back and forth isnt really an option either, it is what it is, you kinda just have to b able to transport yourself
Thats so annoying but yeah I guess there arent any better options
