for professors who ban calculators from exams >: ( especially for ones who also do not provide any summaries or practice exams and also raise to amount of points needed to pass from the "standard" bc "people could just guess!"???? hellooooo how good guesser does one have to be to just guess the right numbers and also accidentally use the formulas right??

fr like imagine not being able to do an exercise you know how to do correctly bc you forgot the value of pi or some poop  i thought the calculus professor was goofing around back in september when he told us we need to memorize the whole sin/cos of pi, pi/2 etc

Totally agree — banning calculators is one thing, but not offering support materials and then raising the passing bar feels really unfair. Guessing doesn’t get you through multi-step problems with the right formulas!

yup! i already know i didn't do well on the exam but i went anyway, just to have some idea what kind of questions to expect

literally dont understand the point of not using calculator its not like it will tell you the answer? you still have to make the right calculations to come to the conclusion wth
