i get you! i started uni at 25 (26 now) and was worried it might be weird to be around people straight from hs and vice versa but i don't think anyone cared/-s? sometimes people assume i must be more mature than them or whatever (when my age comes up) but i don't think people have said anything negative besides one of my ex roommates asking if it's awkward for me
im just scared of the actual 16 year olds because u know, at that age u are maybe a bit immature and prone to fast judgement and gossiping ... honestly im glad im older because i have settled in life and in my personality as n adult already, not liek the peeps fresh out of school
and back in uni i had one classmate who was i think 29 when we started?? and i legit never knew untill he said something abt it years alter and i was like ... wait what ... i was like in middle school back then??? how old are you??
i guess most ppl wont even really register others age untill its explicitly brought up. but it makes me feel so insecure lol
oof, yeah, that's valid. but then again, older people can also be immature and have that kind of mentality. when i worked at rewe, my biggest hater was this +/-30 yo coworker, yet the 16-19 yo girl i also often worked with was very sweet
yupp, unless i specifically tell people, they'll just assume we're probably around the same age. i don't think appearance-wise there's much difference between ex. a 20 or a 30 yo
i feel like i lookso different from all the teenagers here tho, like ... they have that typical teenager look with acne and chubby baby faces haha
