i honestly think streamers have a better chance to convince someone than celebs bcs they actually make digestible  longform content explaining the reasoning and offering scientific research that disproves what someone is saying. OFC only if its a good creator which is hard to find because you cant agree on EVERYTHING. I wouldnt consider myself smart at all bcs i still have a hard time understanding scientific sources but imagine this for someone who lacks the education or doesnt know how to read papers they base all of their opinion on their feelings which results in conspiracies. Im not even talking about finding credible sources in the first place. Not being able to read or understand any form of media literacy is soooo dangerous especially when people are conditioned into not trying to understand. Its hard and needs practice. Unfortunately streamers and tiktok were also part of the reason why the right is gaining so much popularity. Its short attentionspan content now combine this with people who dont fact check and base their opinion on their feelings...........im sooo scared for the future
