did you ever have weird names for your grandparents or were you a pretty standard "grandma and grandpa" type kid
i had nanny and poppy on my moms side, pretty normal stuff
my dads parents were divorced and remarried, so my dads dad is grandpa and his mom was nanny, but his mom got remarried and so we had a big dave/pappy, and his dads wife is Creola. I always felt bad for Creola because she would constantly be called Crayola like the crayons by all us cousins

i dont think i ever called my grandma something else than oma (grandma)
i guess common "pet name" would be omi??? but i never liked my grandma so i never called her the cuter version of grandma

Grandma and grandpa
And granma and pops

My brother came up with pops when he was little because of a speech impediment and it stuck. Everyone called him pops. Even his brother would call him pops when he visited. Granma hated being called that and we called her it anyway. Because i am not addressing her as Miss Fran
