- First vaccine clinical trials begin in United States.
- Finland: forbids people gathering with more than 10 people. Schools and universities closes from wednesday 18/3.
- France: from tuesday 17/3 and 15 days forward it's forbidden to travel to france and curfew. 100 000 police officers are on the streets preventing people to be seen outside. Universities, schools, preschools, stores, cinemas and cafés are being held closed except grocery stores, pharmacies and tobacco stores.
- Canada: Justin Trudeau is in quarentine with his with who both tested positive on the coronavirus. Canada closes borders for foreigners. Americans are allowed to travel there though. All who travels to Canada must sit in quarentine for 14 days.
- Great Britain: Schools are still being open. People are adviced not to visit clubs, theaters and unnecessarily travelling.
- Germany: no necessary stores closes. Unnecessary trips are forbidden both inside and outside the country. Germany closed their borders. They've closed theaters, cinemas, clubs, pubs, brothels, swimming pools, gyms and museums. Restaurants are being allowed to be open from 6-18. Grocery stores, banks, post offices, pharmacies and hairdresses are being kept open.
- USA: Avoid gatherings with 10+ people. Old people should stay home. It's only recommendations and no official laws. All schools in New York are closed, same with cinemas, night clubs, conserts and theaters. Bigger parts of Los Angeles are also being closed down.
- Norway: closes schools and borders.
- Denmark: closes schools, gyms, shopping malls and borders. Gathering more than 10 people inside or outside is now forbidden.
- Eurovision is postponed!
