I wanna say it's a hit or miss type of thing.
I personally liked it, since I have always had starbucks' eggnog latte. That was a hot drink. Then I have tried just plain eggnog which was much more... richer? But it was served chilled.

If you wanted to try it, I recommend the eggnog latte first
