Oh, I never got into that whole club thing, but I feel like the record labels here are definitely similar, at least the one I'm in.

similar but just not the same ): activity for one but i in particular miss the forum sections for clubs, having public and private forums, and threads, moderating your own clubs, being able to pin and unpin and all that, AND being able to be in more than one. i just really really loved that club system

Yeah, I get what you mean. I'm a mod in the RL I'm in, so I have control over those functions. I guess the RLs were just not made to really function in the same way as the clubs did.

Oh god I don't remember the year, but it was when the models looked different to what they did before the site shut down, but it was only a few days or weeks before they changed it to the new look and models.

Mainly on the norwegian server, but I had accounts on the swedish and danish server just because those servers had clothes that we didn't have on the norwegian one that were so nice.

I really miss the -Nochtem- stuff, those things were so nice!

All the nice clothes.
Also mostly the games since I didn't really talk to a lot of people because I was really shy and didn't know how to go forward also I feel like a lot of people kind of seemed really toxic in the forums, at least in the last few months.

Still am shy, but I feel like it is going better, probably because there are more people online here also that it is mixed with a lot of different countries than just one.
I never really experienced the cosmo gsm, and I'm a bit sad about that.

Only active on the swedish one, made an account on Cosmo when that server launched but never liked it.

What were your favourite items?
I honestly can't remember a single item. A few rare hairs maybe? I mostly miss when clothes/items were unik/speciell/normal and had a meaning. Unik never got worn out, and normal wore out after while. They eventually changed that. It completely changed the meaning of Unik clothing.

What do you miss most about gSm?
I loved making magazines.
Playing the wardrobe game.
The profiles.
The clothes, the skins.
Everything.

There was this one pair of diamond shoes ('lave diamantsko'), which came in a variety of different colours, that I started collecting pretty much from the day I made my account. It took me a while to get all of them, especially the green ones since that was the rarest colour, but I got there eventually. I rarely used them because they didn't really fit my style, but they had a special place in my heart until the day I quit.

I know I had lots of other favourite items that I used all the time, but I honestly can't remember exactly which items they were or what they looked like.

What do you miss most about gSm?
What I miss the most is this small community we had on the norwegian server of people who collected old unique items. We had this thread going for selling and trading unique items, but as I remember it, we mostly just talked and hung out there. Since a thread on gsm could only be 50 pages, people always spammed over the last two or three pages to try to get last because we had an unwritten rule that the person coming last in the thread would create the next, and could then dedicate it to a friend or add what they were searching in the first post so everyone clicking on the thread would see it. I spent so many nights just talking in those threads, and for the first few years at least, those were the only threads I wrote in and pretty much how I spent all my time on the site.

More towards the end of my years on gsm I got into making lookbook magazines, which I had a lot of fun with, and the magazines in general is something I really miss about gsm. I also had an instagram account for my model where I posted outfits, item combos etc., and even though that wasn't directly a part of the game, it's one of the main things that comes to mind when I think back at my time on gsm.
