And I'm one of these not so popular designers too, we shouldn't make them feel bad about their art as everyone, popular or not, does their monthly quota and if they quit because they feel useless, it won't be any sets at all eventually.

So in regards to the Solovey stuff, the only time her sets are really used are MCW (2 sets) and auction weekend (1 set). Its very rare her sets are used for anything else but that's because we have a requirement to use them.

We use whatever sets we have and from a business pov, it makes more sense to keep the 'popular designers' for the uses where users pay to get the sets. Every designer deserves the right for their design to be in game - regardless if they are 'popular' or not. The idea of a popular design to be honest annoys me because e ery designer puts hard work behind their art.

Yea, I don't recall her sets being wofs, but I remember her designs being hof/ dm sometimes when I started here.

But it's not just about Sol.

I was waiting for that adjective from someone, whenever this comes up, someone always has to use this.

DT doesn't choose which sets designers send into different teams. It doesn't go through DT if one person contacts ET or SMT to give them a set. It's up to the designer c:

I think all the sets should be submitted to the Jess or a main pool from where the teams can choose for codes and events, but only after all the obligatory sets (mcw/ auction/ dm/ hof/ wof) have been covered... it feels like teams get everything first and whatever left is being used to cover the rest. :\

That actually kinda falls into the hands and responsibilities of the designers
Like, not to make anyone look bad or throw shade, we all have different reasons for why we give our sets to whoever, but in most cases the designers do have the choice if they make a set for the teams or not
believe it or not, but a designer can say no if a team wants to use their sets
it's a bit more difficult with designers from other servers, because they usually decide for their own server. So for instance Sol makes a code design for one of the teams there and now the EN and DE are free to use that code outfit for whatever team they want. In most cases, this is first come first serve.
So, it's ultimately the "designer's fault" (very lightly put) if sets get used as codes. But again, we all have reasons for that and just going around nagging about it instead of trying to understand the reasons is a bit ... not so thougt through. No shame to the people who critique the use of sets, but there are more things at play than users see at first glance.

in that case, ask the designers themselves? because they make the choice on what their sets get used for (team or DT use that is, sometimes even more specific, but that depends a bit on how things are handled on the respective server)

Well sorry as a nond who's designs no one really cares about I got offended, I don't understand why you need to be kinda negative here even if you don't mean it, it really seems like you just personally want certain designers

In all fairness, it's about popularity and not quality.
And we can't use sets we do not have and that doesn't exist really. And no, you really do not seem to appreciate all designers or their sets with this view on things.
