I undestand why people like it, but it wasnt for me

Now I can start reading something else, wooo
Spill the beans!
I personally wasnt a fan, I felt like I was reading a fanfic
Really liked some of the new characters introduced tho!
And I actually disliked Rhys in this book too, but maybe it was intentional since its not written from his mates perspective

I loved it! But in regards to Rhys - I think that is one of the most brilliant parts of the book. We see him from a completely, 100% biased POV in Feyre's story, and so I thought it was really interesting to see how - you know - he isn't perfect. Just like how some people hated Nesta in Feyre's POV, and fell in love with her in ACOSF

I read a super sexy reverse harem and it was, uh.. well yeah not good. The author promised sex in every chapter AND great plot, but where was the plot?? and every time there WAS some great plot it was rushed in favour of sexy times???? i was v sad as I'd looked forward to this but oh well thankfully it was short

since I liked some characters, the writing wasn't bad, and I will read the next book in the series, I rated it 2 stars instead of 1, but I will definitely never read book one again unless I magically get obsessed with the series later on

now I'm rereading acotar to make up for the bad rating ooops
in my defense I managed to wait over a year before rereading

PARDON?!?!? i rly hope this is a cruel joke from the community like the thing with another community where they would also always joke about someone being dead while being very much alive because if this turns out to be true..... im mad...

Understandable. That's the impressions I've read about the book gave me too. And yeah, i think it is nice that we can se rhys from not feyras biased perspective. From what i heard, some of his decitions was highly questionable

Just saw a video on it?

It seems to not be AS up to date for non speaking countries in terms of books, but i feel like it's given to change if the site grows as big as goodreads.

I haven't made an account, but maybe in the future

From what i gathered in the comments, the reviews from users who tried it says.

"My only issues are that there isn’t much of the community options the way there are in Goodreads (book clubs, lists, quizzes, the ability to ask authors questions) and it has a much smaller audience which means it lacks in reviewers"

"I started using this in beta and kinda was like eh at first because it wasn't great, still under development, etc. but now that there are more users, more books uploaded, it's so worth it. So many more options for categorizing, sorting your TBR, adding trigger warnings, etc."

People seem to enjoy their change tho otherwise!

Let me know how you like it! Seems it's started from an independent woman, who loves reading! So that's so nice!
