FT: Stress management

Everyone can feel stressed at some point in their life,
and then I thought that together we can give each other tips
to be able to manage their stress, so that you can reduce your stress.

What tips do you have for people to be able to stress less at work,
at school or simply anywhere people can feel stressed?

Common tips on stress management:
Sit down and breathe in through almost, hold your breath
for 3 seconds and then exhale through your mouth and do it for a while.
 Take a deep breath.
  Mindfulness.
  Training.
Put on music and grab a book, and ignore the world for a second.
Using the app finch to manage daily tasks and
they have some meditations on there too.
 Being alone in my bedroom.
Playing video games with a close friend.
Talking to a close friend while i play my own games.
 Someone is smoking.

My tips that I usually do are:
1: Sit down and breathe in through almost, hold your breath for 3 seconds and then exhale through your mouth and do it for a while.

2: Mindfulness, by lying down in bed and feeling how one's body feels and then breathing to think about the present and become relaxed in the body.

3: Training.

i mostly use it for chores !! you can make a little checklist of your tasks for the day so i usually put drink water, take medicine, do laundry, etc.

It sounds like a very good app and a good app to have if you need to be reminded of what to do during the day.

i feel like stress management is only good for people that can escape the stress of their lives. some people live in constant stress or fear/worry... either from the same thing, or multiple
the only thing i find true comfort in, is being alone in my bedroom, sat at my pc playing video games with a close friend, or even just talking to a close friend while i play my own games

It's a shame that there are people who live in complete stress and they and the others should get help.

There are some things that are good and it's good that they work for you so that you can find true comfort within. Talking to a close friend is always good.

getting help is just not as easy as it sounds to a lot of people and thats why people resort to their comforts

That's right, but I hope everyone gets help.
