Hello everybody!
Recently I asked everyone about what they like to read
and it sparked such great books and conversations

So I have some new questions for everyone!
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

In preparation for fall, do you keep a drink on hand while you read?

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

If you could live in any book universe/world, which would you choose?

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

What are you currently reading? How far in are you? What do you think so far?

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

Which do you think is worse:
Starting a series that never got finished
Or reading a book that has rushed writing and bad grammar?

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

And last
What is the weirdest place you've read a book?
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

For those of you who don't read books as much,
feel free to answer with playing games or watching shows/movies

as for me,

i always have water to drink with me when i read. but when it gets colder i'm making apple cider!
I'd want to live in pixie hollow as my world/universe.
I'm currently reading The arc of a Sythe book 2 and i really like it so far, i'm only 10 chapters in.
I definitely think reading a poorly written book with bad grammer is so much worse than an unfinished series
The weirdest place I've read a book is in a karate studio's dressing room

I usually try to have water next to me (and forget to drink it). I don't really change drinks seasonally

Idk if I would choose a universe to live in...most books i read have monsters in them also.  I mean, there are cool settings that seem fun and easier but also they would have their probs too so "the devil I know" i think in that regards

what i'm reading now is too embarrassing. ok i guess i have to answer i;m reading maid-sama (the entire series was available to borrow ok??) and audio-booking the 3rd chronicles of nick book

I think reading a rushed/bad grammer book would be worse b/c I have like a thousand partially finished series and while that does suck.... *shrug*

weirdest place huh....well... ngl one time i was so excited to read the next manga volume I borrowed from the library i started reading it... while driving back home.... I mean it was a stoplight it's fine absolutely

I finished dexter number 5 and paprika yesterday (both was fine but eh), so I read a few of the short stories in salmonella men on planet porno before bed, its fine entertaining enough but not great

Reading a book with rushed writing I think, or just in general very on the nose or cliched writing. Or just overly confusing for no reason.
I did actually read the dr. Harper therapy books which did not get finished because the author died I think, was kind of annoying but its fine lol

i dont read nearly as much as i would like, just due to the fact that its expensive to buy manga, plus finding series i havent already read or watched online.. so usually i dont rlly have drink with reading. but usually water.

currently im re-reading トモちゃんは女の子!/ tomo-chan wa onnanoko! / tomo-chan is a girl!  . or just finishing the first volume for kimi ni todoke: soulmate which is the newest manga of the KnT series...

i think in manga, u experience both unfinished works AND/OR bad grammar (usually from slang or mistranstlations) so i dont really give that much of a care, but i typically am more bothered by unfinished stories. though i will wait patiently for my favourite series to finish (manifesting)

i usually read at home, so the weirdest place would be on the toilet... just a good past time

I tend to completely forget to drink once im reading, but i prefer to drink some tea while reading

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

I read books with terrible universes, like dystopia and action, and i would like to live so i really dont know, maybe the world of caraval or night circus

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

i am reading multiple books at the same time, but the one that im mostly reading is a torch against the night by Sabaa Tahir and its the second book in the serie. I absolutely LOVE this serie and the books are sooo well written, I'm about half way with this book but i have already bought the entire series

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

I despise bad writing, but I will still read it if the story is interesting. starting series that never got finished makes me depressed so i pick that one

✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°

I dont really know, I read everywhere, at school, in public transport, overseas, at camp, while walking. there was one time when my mom got her signlanguage siploma and the whole class plus families went to a cafe to go drink something and I couldn't talk with 70% of the people there since i dont know any sign language so i was reading the book i borught, it was either harry potter or warrior cats

I do keep a water bottle nearby! I've been working on my habit of drinking more water, so I have my cute water bottle with me 24/7.

The Grishaverse (Leigh Bardugo books) would be a very interesting world to live in, though I would definitely want to have more life and fighting skills before I lived there

I just finished reading The Hate U Give. It's an amazing book with really good insight. I haven't started up a new book because school has started up, and I want to get back in the school mindset so I don't get stuck in a book lol

Rushed and bad grammar for sure. At that point I won't even finish the book. With an unfinished series I can think up my own amazing ending, though I do always wonder how the author intended to end it.

On a barn roof. It was a lower part of it, and safe enough. The weather was amazing, and I got some peace and quiet while reading.

i  love tomo-chan! i recently finishes that and was a little disappointed by the manga. and unfinished and bad grammer are so common in manga, i kind of forgot that when i made the question lol

there really is nothing worse than a story that's confusing for no reason.
its so unfortunate when authors die, because you can't really be mad at them for not finishing the series

Yes at least it was kind of finished, but there was a sequel on the way 😭 but the story ended enough where it doesn't bug me tbh, it would be more annoying if it stopped on a cliffhanger

that sounds so cool to read in a room where everyone else is talking a different language. can't ignore them if you don't understand them

i've had reading abandoned for a long time and i'm trying to get back to it now so wish me luck with that whew
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°
but hmmmm,,,, normally I do have something to drink on hand, maybe some soda but also iced water, I drink so much iced water all year long :>
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°
the what universe question is so tricky cause most of what i read has either messed up worlds that lil me would not survive or horribly corrupt systems to fight.... maybe the world of witch hat atelier would be my best shot, cottagecore relaxing magic world (we ignore the darkest sides of that magic system) (does manga even count here)
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°
i'm currently reading (very slowly) book 2 of a spanish book series called royalty witches ! It's very nice, I like it a lot and the ending of the first one had me crying soooo much, I really wanna know how it goes on (now I just need to actually get to reading )
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°
for me the first, it's actually the reason why I haven't read stories like nana, knowing that I'll never know how they end fully discourages me from starting them.... and as a manga reader and specifically shonen reader, i have learnt to ignore the rushed and nonsensical parts of a story lol. i survived the death of coherence in tokyo revengers i can handle whatever
✧˖°.🎧📖✧˖°
back when i used to read a lot, there were multiple times where i read while at concerts taking place in my town  my family would say we all had to go to have fun at the holiday celebrations but all i wanted to do was know how my book continued, so i was there in a corner under a streetlight at 2 am while the whole town was dancing in the square lmaooo

I mostly drinks green teas, so I go for a matcha tea or a lavender/camomile tea.
The series is sooo good, I would 1000% recommend. The story follows Laia, a scholar girl, whose family get murdered and arrested and she ends up with the resistance to help get her brother back from jail, so she infiltrates the martial academy as a slave to try and get information, it's soo well written and it really keeps you engaged. The books flip between different perspectives.
Exactly! It was really awkward first since they tried to talk to me😅

i love nana so much but the end does suck greatly since its not really an ending. i mean reading with music especially live music is such a mood. and the 2am reading by the light of a streetlight is such a mood
