What age group is VP going for? That really depends on the rules in general, I'd say. If you want younger girls, you're going to need more rules. But more rules are going to drive away older users.

See, there's an issue -- you can't appeal to both 10 and 17 years old with the same set of rules unless you allow the 15-17 year olds to go and have their own private forum section where they can discuss mature topics such as weight, sex, etc. Honestly the c word was stated in the forums the other day -- a word that is honestly very vulgar imo when used in the wrong way. Same with the f word. Now, you can't be stating those words to 10-13 year olds or else parents will get upset. That's why GSM had such a strict filter, because they were trying to appeal to 10-14 year olds.
Ten year olds and seventeen year olds don't discuss the same things. It's impossible to please the older users while keeping it a safe, clean place for the younger users.
You should be able to put in your birthday when you sign up so that the 15-17 year old forum section is visible to you.
that surely won't stop younger users from lying but it'll be on them-enter at your own risk.
