My suggestion to all players who were not able to get that item because they did more than 3 performances is to pay with credits for that day and send me a personal message and I will reimburse you the credits.
This (until it is fixed) seems to be the best way forward because it is weekend and the developer might only be back on Monday (though I'm trying to get hold of him) and if you don't buy the item now, then the other days will be blocked as well.
For the ones who used a golden key, I will see what we can do, but will only know more after I've spoken to the designer.
Update:
The developer changed it to "3 or more performances".
I realise this is a bit too late for some of you who already paid with credits or who used a golden key. To take some pressure away, I have made the next couple of days "free" and have refunded the people who have sent me a direct message.
For the ones who are surprised that days/items can be bought with credits, please visit the FAQ page on the BSP for a more detailed explanation.
If you log in every day and do the BSP activities every day, then the items are for free and every month you can collect a full set.
In case you feel that VP should not ask any credits and you are of the opinion that everything should be for free, then please also ask yourself how we are going to pay for the next updates, or even pay for the daily running costs.
Regarding the next updates and as communicated previously; we will be updating the 'wardrobe'. If there are people who want to contribute, please send me a message and you might become part of a 'steering team' because it is true that I don't know anything about dress-up games and therefore I fully rely on the advise of others (like the designer team)
The BSP came from the brainpower of the designers of the 3 sites who had to explain the concept to me and my role was to merely translate the info to the developer. I feel that the designers did a wonderful job and the BSP is a great addition to VP. But I understand that other people want to contribute their ideas and therefore the need for a 'steering team' is born.
Lastly, I do see that one or two people have been highly critical and that is fine... everyone has the right to have their opinion on VP. However, I don't think personal attacks are really necessary, not only toward me, but towards anyone on VP. Please keep VP civilised as there are plenty of other platforms where you can attack people if you feel you need to attack someone or call someone names to make you feel better.
you might want to consider communicating with your already existing "steering team" sometimes first
"one or two people have been highly critical" no one here likes that fucking feature, not a single positive comment was left. you still havent addressed the fact that you refused to do another trial round with previous bsp set, using a new good set for a feature that works half the time.
at least on those other platforms person you attack would actually respond instead of saying hes busy with his "real job" and that he will "look into it" all the time.
