Dex was pacing up and down his apartment with a trenta peppermint hot chocolate in hand in his christmas jumper, jeans and socks. Every now and then he'd glance up at the clock, or sit down and try to watch TV or something but he couldn't seem to settle. He was very, very excited, as in, at that moment, Dexter Cavandish, age 22 and a non believer for well over a decade was acting and felt like a five year old child at christmas as they tried to wait up for Santa.

Naomi was sitting in her so called 'friend's oversized christmas jumper and a pair of back leggings, with fluffy socks on that had snowflakes. She walked to the window and glanced out, looking at the crisp white snow that'd fallen on the ground. Pah. Who was she kidding. She didn't need him. She didn't need anyone as long as she had a roof over her head and was financially stable enough to get by, which she had and was.

She had just about managed to lug the entire thing downstairs when the buzzer went off for someone to be let into the flat, and upon shouting into the dodgy receiver, she found it to be her landlord, who she let in very, very quickly as he wasn't the sort of man you kept waiting.

Jon, the landlord, had become friendly with Naomi after she moved in over a year ago doing the second year of a 4 year university degree, and had also become well aqquainted with who he presumed to be Naomi's boyfriend, so thinking quickly and on his feet he decided to advise her to ring him to see if he could let her stay with him or find somewhere she could stay. Naomi did nothing but debate the offer until Jon announced that she needed to go and get her 'personal belongings' and that he would help her box everything up and even take her wherever she needed to be.

"hey, babe."

Naomi's hands shook as she pressed the #1 on her dialpad and the call button, holding it up to her ear and just praying that he, Anthony, would pick up. He was her only hope now. The only person she had left, and she needed him, alot, but when he failed to answer and let the call go to voicemail, Nom knew that she wouldn't get an answer that way. She ran inside and packed all her stuff quickly into a pull along case and then, with the help of Jon, loaded everything into his car before giving him the last address she had for Ant and praying he wouldn't be too mad..

anthony took her handbag from her, and her jacket, letting her go into the living room to relax. being someone who stands there looking pretty at make up counters was obviously very hard work. he rolled his eyes and put her things away, wandering into the kitchen to make their dinner. "have a good day at work baby?" he asked her, but as soon as she started speaking he zoned out. it was what he was best at - pretending like he actually cared.

Naomi stayed silent for most of the 25 minute car ride, hopping out of the car and praying that by some miracle he wouldn't turn her away as she crept up his path and knocked on his door. She was shaking, but not from the clod. She hadn't seen Ant, for reasons sexual or other in about a month.
