Hm yeah, it might be a bit difficult to give tips & tricks on this subject, because most is about your own writing style. It's also important to make a character seem realistic and not too much of a Mary Sue.

The reason I want to learn to roleplay is that I'm a linear thinker and good with words, which could lead to some interesting writings. And not to forget: it would be a great way to improve my English! I'm not a native speaker

exactly, hahah. I actually have a few pages of some saved rp'ing if you wanna read it, though I have to say I'm not the best writer/roleplayer, especially not compared to my old rp buddy who's responding in those pages that I've saved. 

but yes, I guess it's a good way to develop your skills at that point! it honestly helped me a lot with improving my english.
