D raised both his eyebrows, and without saying a word, shrugged off his leather jacket, revealing a full sleeve of tattoos on both arms. "I think I could manage a few moments of pain for you to squiggle your little designs on me. I want something special though, something only you and I would know about. You could do it on my ass so no one else will see it either." He half teased, his eyes darkening just a little. Wondering how far he could push the boundaries with her. They had ensued really been friends in school, just a mutual understanding of each other. He wandered why. They were practically the same person. "We can get out of here if you're bored, I know a place not too far downtown we can hang out at." He suggested, shrugging his jacket back on.

Martinas cheeks turned a rather embarrassing colour of red, looking down at the floor for a moment before back up at him. "I mean I aced it a one point.. just before I pushed a nine pound kiddo out of me. And then it all went downhill from there." Smirking slightly, she moved a little closer to the bar, leaning the small of her back, against it, her hands resting in front of Ed as she looked up at face full of concern as she listened to Finlay. "I'm so sorry to here that Fin.. but at least you have so many wonderful memories with her, and that's what matters. It's just a shame it happened to her so quickly." She reached her hand up, resting it in his, squeezing his hand. "Well I know I've not been there for a while but.. now, if you need anything.. just let me know okay?" She smiled softly up at him. "I'd like that too. Maybe you could introduce me to her again."

Hailee's eyes fell onto his arm, the tattoos were incredible, "damn this is one gorgeous sleeve," she said as she let her fingers gently trace some of the line work before she pulled away, hoping that she hadn't just overstepped the mark. "Squiggles?" she scoffed, shaking her head, "I do more than just squiggle thank you." She couldn't help but laugh at the thought of tattooing his ass, "okay well how about this, I get to tattoo your ass but you don't get to know what the design is until its on there" she smirked, a cruel little smirk, oh the things she could do to his perky bottom. "yeah that'd be pretty good actually, this isn't exactly my scene and it appears that you are the only person talking to me this evening." She quickly sent a message to West saying she would have fun and then stuck her phone back into her small black handbag.

Finlay had always loved how expressive her face was, whenever she was even a little bit embarrassed her cheeks would turn an incredible colour which he just thought was incredibly adorable, "oh of course, your skills for walking in heels must have been short lived then." he laughed, admiring her while he finished his drink. He squeezed her hand back gently, this genuine connection was amazing, he had missed it. His current fiancé spent so much time at work and whenever she was at home she wasn't entirely interested in him. Being around Martina for the last hour or so had been the best human connection he had had in so long. "I know, I'm trying to hold on to them but it's just been rather hard. You know how close my mum and I are." he looked down at the ground for a moment, trying to hold himself together. "I would love to introduce you to her again, maybe if you are lucky she will recognise your cute little nose." he said with a cheeky smile.

Dymitrius wasn't one for intimacy and closeness, for gentle touches and appreciation. But feeling Hailees nails trace along his skin, it sent shivers down his spine. "I don't show it off very often because a lot of it is personal but you called me a wimp so I had to prove a point." He teased, ruffling his hair about slightly, pushing back a few bits that had flopped forward again. "You know what, you've got yourself a deal there. No one but me and you will see it for longer than thirty seconds so I'm down for that." Finishing off his beer, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "I'm just gonna say by Timmy mate and then we can head off." He slid through the gatherings of people around the bar, tapping Finlay on the shoulder. "I'm gonna head off now mate but it was good seeing you. We'll have to catch up again soon alright?" He patted him on the back.

Martina grinned sheepishly. "Yeah, a whole three weeks of being to last more than an hour in stilettos, what an achievement that is." Rolling her eyes, she watched him for a moment while he finished his drink. Everything about him was just everything she'd always loved and admired. So calm natured and honest, the man she'd always loved no matter what had been said. Maybe, just maybe this could have been the start of something. "Maybe you could build yourself a scrap book, of all your favourite things about her. And show her, I'm sure that would help her too. Maybe trigger some memories of you two together." Her hand gently stroked up and down his arm. "Hey, you leave my nose out of this." She rubbed at the tip of her nose self-consciously. "Fancy having a little dance?" She suggested, biting down on her bottom lip gently.

"Well thank you for letting me see it, even if it was just to prove a point," Hailee responded, moving some of her hair behind her ear so it was out of the way. A shocked expressing crossed her face when Dymitrius actually agreed to let her tattoo him, "damn.. I did not think you would agree to that, you are a lot cooler than I thought you were." she grinned before nodding her head, "Alright well I'll meet you outside, I need to get some air anyway." she said before making her way through the crowd and out of the side exit door, the cool night air hitting her face. She wriggled a cigarette out of her bag and lit it up, pressing it against her lips. Perhaps this evening wasn't going to be as shit as she thought, D seemed so similar to her and it was great to be around someone that understood her and what she was about.

Finlay didn't really pick up on the fact that she specified it had been three weeks, perhaps it was because he was far too busy checking her out at that exact moment in time. "You always were the creative one out of us weren't you," he laughed before nodding, "but you know what that is a really good idea. I'm pretty sure she has a few shoeboxes filled with old pictures I could use that would really help her out." He grinned at the mention of dancing, "oh you bet I do!" he shuffled onto the dance floor but was stopped on his way there by Dymitrius, "It was great seeing you too mate, drop me a text later on and we can see if we can arrange a day for a catch up." he grinned at him before sneaking past onto the dance floor with Martina. Phew, Dymitrius hadn't blown his cover,  it was a good thing he had said his congratulations earlier on in the night and not in front of Martina.

Dymitrius shrugged. "Theres something about you, Hailee, and I just feel like I can trust you to be honest. It's weird, I know we never used to really hang out but I'm kinda regretting that already." He swooped back once he had spoken to Finlay, and slipped outside with her, pulling out his own cigarette, he rested it between his lips and lit it up, taking a deep drag from it, and exhaling slowly. "Damn I've been waiting ages for that." He chuckled softly, heading down the street with her, one hand on the small of her back protectively as they walked down the dimly lit streets of their town, underneath a bypass, to a well hidden bar. Nodding at the gentleman at the door, he let them in quickly and D led Hailee to his favourite seat, a small booth that wasn't very well lit, away from everywhere else. "Here we are."

Martina could feel his eyes on her, and she didn't know quite how to take it. It had been a long time since a gentleman had looked at her in that way, she didn't even feel like her body deserved to be looked at like that any more. "And if not, it'll take your mind off things and help you out too, which is a good thing." She swayed onto the dance floor with him, her hips loving in time with the music. Not many people had taken advantage of the dance floor, and so there was plenty of room for them to dance together, tho they stayed very close. Hearing that he was alone still, it made something in her feel a little bit braver, maybe, just maybe Finlay would want to start something up again. The idea there butterflies around Martinas stomach. "It's lovely that you and D have stayed in touch." She commented.

Hailee blushed, just a tad, when he said there was something about her. Most of her life Hailee had been outcasted, never quite fitting in with the girls and guys thinking she was just plain weird, so for someone to say that they could trust her after such a short period of time actually chatting after all these years made her feel quite happy. As she waited for him outside she hummed gently into the night. "you should of said earlier then silly." she laughed, walking with him in silence until they arrived at the hidden bar, quickly tossing her cigarette but she headed inside with him. "now this is so much better." she said as she gazed around the place before slipping into the seat. and letting her bag fall off her shoulder onto the space next to her.

Finlay danced along side Martina, as best he could of course, dancing had never been a strength of his so he tried to keep his moves to a basic few options on rotation as to not embarrass himself too much. "we only got in contact about a month ago after word got out about the reunion, I may have begged him to come so I didn't feel lonely but then I ended up spending more time with you then him .. oops." he chuckled, but smiled regardless, "I've missed hanging out with him though, he's changed so much in appearance but is still so down to earth and cheeky, absolutely love it." he laughed again, a rather ladish sound leaving his body. "what about you, did you catch up with any of your friends from back in the day?"

Dymitrius couldn't help but grin, just a little. "Well I didn't know if you smoked or not and I didn't wanna just walk off from you, I was enjoying our chat." He admitted, taking off his jacket and resting it in the space between them. A booth was always wise, get as close as possible and it didn't look weird, perfect."what are you drinking anyway? It's on me tonight, seeing as I own 70% of this place." Rubbing the back of his neck, he stood up from the booth, and headed over to the Duke box, pressing a couple is buttons and changing it to a sound how much preferred.

Once the music hit Martina, there was no going back. The music was in had blood and there was no way to stop her. Her Spanish roots soared deep and her body moved perfectly in time with the music. "Well it looks as if you picked up where you left off, you guys were always so similar. I always thought he kind of influenced you when we broke up though, I don't think he ever really liked me did he?" She said, more to herself than anything else.she held his hands gently and laced their fingers together as the music slowed a little, moving herself a little closer to him. "Hmm not in particular. A few of the girls stuck around for a while but they all still got to enjoy their nights out, they didn't want me hanging around." She admitted, a little sad. It felt like she's miaaes out on having fun.

Hailee loved the aesthetic of the bar, the dim lighting and the cosy feeling was exactly what she looked for in a place for drinking, "You own this place? Well I did not expect that, how does one end up owning 70% of a little hidden bar?" she tilted her head to the side, "I'll take a double vodka and Diet Coke please, the double since you want to pay." she said with a cheeky smile. Her foot gently tapping to the beat of the song he put on, "and you have good taste in music." Perhaps she was getting a bit too flirty, especially considering her marital status but at this point in time she could not care in the slightest bit. The bar was pretty quiet but it was a Thursday night after all so she wasn't expecting many places to be packed.

Finlay tried to match her bodies movement to the music but there was no hope in it being successful, but at least he wasn't the most embarrassing on the dance floor. "Thats true, it felt like no time had passed between the pair of us it was crazy," he nodded his head a little, "yeah, I think he just wanted me to enjoy my youth rather than being tied in a relationship but then again he had never been in a proper relationship at that point so probably wasn't listening to the right person." he laughed lightly, feeling a moment of guilt spike through him. "oh really? thats pretty shitty of them. Well, if it makes you feel any better, you are the only person I want to hang out with tonight. So I will try and make up for each and everyone of those losers." he chuckled, wiggling his hips and doing a slut drop before letting out a laugh at how awful he just did at pretending to be a woman.

Dymitrius rested his hands behind his back as he turned to her, in a rather strong posture, something that felt natural to him, his father was a military man and so D naturally followed in his footsteps with his mannerisms. Strong and possessive, almost. "I inherited a lot of money and wanted to put it into something instead of wasting it, my friend owns the other part. It means we can keep it how we want. And kick out who we don't want. In particular the wests." He said the last part of his sentence a little quieter, not wanting to offend her. He walked off to the bar and served them their drinks, pouring her a strong vodka and Diet Coke and getting himself his favourite ale, he slipped back into the booth, letting himself land closer to her. "So what have you been up to, Hailee." He took a large swig from his drink.

Martina shrugged casually. "I know he was just looking out for his best friend but I was always sour about it. i always wander what would have happened if we had stayed together.. do you ever think about it, Fin?" She asked quietly, stroking along the top of his hand, not being able to meet his eye. There was so much tension between them still, so much she felt like they needed to talk through. She didn't even know where to begin. Letting her hands run up his arms under they clutched over his shoulders, she swayed slowly with him. "Talking to you tonight has made things a thousand times better, believe me. None of them really matter. If they cared they would have tried, they all had my number." She pulled away, grinning as he slut dropped, a giggle escaping from her lips. "God damn you always had the best moves."

Hailee let her eyes trail over him as he stood in what seemed like the most effortlessly dominant stance she may have ever seen before, "Smart business mind," she paused, laughing softly at the last comment he made. "Well you are failing at that last part this evening," she smirked, it was filled with mischief and excitement probably two of her main characteristic traits. "Thank you," she said as she took the drink from him, taking a fairly large sip from the glass before setting it back down on the table. "well where to begin.." her voice trailed off, trying to figure out interesting and appropriate parts of her life to talk to him about, "I'm a freelance photographer, been doing a lot of work recently for online fashion retailers." she picked up her glass again and took another big sip.

Finlay felt himself get nervous about the area of conversation Martina was entering, what if he said the wrong thing and fucked up this nice evening they were having? "Yeah actually.. I thought about it a lot over the years. I must admit if you'd asked me back in school I would of said we would be together forever, so now looking back on the time we went without each other it just seems crazy." he stopped talking and just looked into her eyes, "have you thought much about us?" he finally asked. He let his arms slip around her waist, respectfully, pulling her in a little closer, "well who needs those losers anyway," he chuckled, "I learned my moves from this gorgeous girl called Martina who could dance the night away with ease!"

Tapping his fingertips on the edge of the table, he took a moment to compose himself and thing about how he was going to say his next phrase without completely upsetting her. Turning to look her in the eye, he cleared his throat. "You're only a west by association though, you've not got the venomous blood running through your veins, your heart isn't cold. How did you end up with him anyway?" He asked intrigued. To him it didn't make sense, a girl like Hailee, so in her own world, so free, with an asshole like him. She deserved such a better world, he thought. Taking a long sip from his drink, he couldn't help but smile at her. "That sounds really cool, have you got any samples on your phone or anything? I could really do with this place being promoted a little more, having someone with an edge, it'd be cool if you could take some photos for me."

Martina simply wanted honesty, to know where she stood in his life, where he was in his life. How long had it been since Finlay and his fiancée had broken up? She didn't want to push the boundaries but it seemed he was more than comfortable with being close to her. It was a sigh of relief in her eyes. "Forever is a long time, Fin, that doesn't mean it can thappen again.." she admitted quietly, not being able to meet his eyes for a moment. It was a sore subject, something that made Martinas heart beat, a sinking feeling punching at the bottom of her stomach. Letting her body fall a little closer, she leaned up slightly on her tip toes, her nose resting against his. Lips centimetres apart. "I never stopped thinking about us.." she whispered finally, meeting his eyes. Gulping for air, her lips going dry. Why the hell had she just admitted that?

Hailee fell silent when he asked her how they ended up together, it wasn't exactly a romantic love story that would become a future film, "you want that story huh," she said, running her fingers through her hair while she thought about the best way to start. "well, I wound up in some financial trouble and he offered me a lot of money to do some work for him. " she paused, looking over at Dymitrius, "and no, before your mind even goes there it wasn't prostitution." she laughed a bit, "then somewhere down the line we ended up together and before you know it this happened." She finished, wiggling her finger with the ring on it. "gosh you are really eager to have me help you out, but honestly I would love to get some cool shots of this place the lighting you've got going on could look pretty cool on camera." she said before propping her bag up on the table and taking her phone out and opening up her photography album and handing it over to D.

Finlay could feel his heart beating faster with every word that left her lips, it was just like school all over again. He was falling head over heels for her and this time he didn't want to let anything come between that.. even his fiancé. Then she said it, she admitted how she felt and that was all he needed to throw his entire life away into the past for her. He ran his fingers along her cheek and kissed her lips softly, only for a moment before pulling away and just gazing into her eyes, "you were always the one for me Martina. I was a fucking idiot for not seeing that before. God I regret walking away from you but fate brought us together tonight for a reason and I'm not letting you slip by me again." It felt like the hall was empty and that it was just them, the same way it had felt ten years ago. She had always been the most important person in his life and it was happening all over again and in this moment thoughts of his current life fizzled away to nothing.

Rubbing along his jaw as he listened, Dymitrius couldn't stop the filthy smirk appearing on his lips. Marcus was an asshole and it was obvious even his wife wasn't a particularly big fan of him. "Sounds like you're real happy about that, Hailee. What, did he have you st gunpoint as you walked down the aisle or something?" He joked, but quickly dropped his smile, seeing the death glare, and instead took a moment to finish off his drink, turning back to to her eventually, he reached to her hands running his thumb along her ring once more. "He couldn't even be bothered to splash out on a proper diamond either.. what a jackass.." he mumbled under his breath, letting his hand drop. Taking her phone from her, he flicked through the pictures. He was impressed, she was talented that was for sure. The unique angles, colouring and lighting, she knew how to make it work. "You definitely need to get some pictures done for me."

Martina was smitten, a fool maybe? She didn't care, her heart was yearning for Finlay, like it had all those years and finally he was back in her life, and as if by some sort of miracle, he was still single. Falling into his touch, Martina pressed her lips gently to his, almost getting too carried away, pulling away just short of becoming completely breathless. "No.. you don't need to regret anything. It must have happened for a reason and we were just stupid back then. Let's just not make the same mistake again.." her voice was barely audible, as if the words falling from her tongue were sacred. This was it. A fresh start for them both, it was the perfect opportunity. "Well if you don't have anywhere to be tonight you could always come back to mine. I really don't wanna let you go right now but I need to take this shoes off.." she giggled. Realising she'd most likely ruined their moment.

Hailee glared at him when he mentioned being held at gunpoint, but he wasn't far from the truth, "what does it matter to you anyway?" she rolled her eyes, picking up the glass and downing the remainder of her glass. Nobody had ever cared about her wellbeing before so why should someone she hasn't seen since school, who wasn't even friends with her, start now. She wanted to change the subject from her husband and onto something else, "what about you, tell me about your life over these last ten years." she said while he scrolled through her photos. "well just let me know when you want me to come round and I'll forward you my rates." she laughed, before biting down on her lip a little.

Finlay kept his hands on her, not wanting to let her go even though their kiss was over, "then mark this day as our new beginning. a fresh start for us." he had a huge smile spread across his face like a kid in a candy shop, this was the best thing that could of come of this reunion evening. "well we can't have you here in pain so I suppose I will just have to take up your offer," he paused, worrying for a moment, "your daughter won't mind .. right?" he asked, not wanting to impose on her and her family set up. "Last thing I want to do is make a horrible impression on the most important person in your life, that wouldn't exactly be the best move for our fresh start." he chuckled lightly.

Dymitrius shrugged casually. "I just think you probably deserve a lot more than what you're getting right now. I know that we hardly know each other but you're a kind girl, Hailee. I know he's probably not treating you right." Sighing softly, he reached over, his hand hesitant, before gently stroking some of her hair behind her ear, resting against the side of her face for a moment before dropping immediately. It was wrong, so wrong. He was playing a dangerous game, he knew that. Sitting up a little straighter, he averted his gaze, looking away from her before smiling again. "Me? I'm boring. I grew up a lot, got toned, got tattooed, but I'm still the nerd I always was. I've dated a couple of girls but they've not really been my thing." He shrugged, leaning back in the booth seat, his arms crossed over his chest.

Martina had missed his touch. His hands knew exactly which curves to caress, the pressure of his fingertips. The aroma of his frangrance enveloping her, it all simply made her want him even more. And now she had him again. No first dates necessary, it felt right. "Tonight is our night. This is perfect. I came here expecting it to be a shambles and well, instead I've been reunited with the love of my life." She reached up, her lips pressing to his cheek for a moment, holding onto Finlay for just a little while longer before finally letting go. "She's with her cousins this evening, so it's okay. To be honest I wouldn't have incited you back if she was there. I know she will love you but it's a bit early yet.." of course she will love you, you're her father. Martina slipped her small cardigan over her shoulders and tucked her clutch bag under her arm, taking a hold of his hand she slipped through the dwindling crowd and outside.
