She felt around the tube with her hands and found a lever, hoping that it would open up if she pulled on it. She pulled the level and it opened slightly, she tried to push the rest of the door up, but her muscles was too sore to manage getting it up. "Hello? Is there anyone else here?" she almost whispered because her throat was so sore and raspy.

Riley pulled his mother into a tight hug "Don't be afraid, i'll come back to you mother" he said in her ear and she could feel she pulling him in even tighter. He smiled for himself and looked at his father who had his arms crossed over his chest. "I gotta go mother" he said and let go of her, she let go of him and gave him a sweet kiss on his cheek "I'm going to miss you Riley" she said as her tears fell down her cheeks. "I'll promise you, I'll come back to you mother" he said and walked over to his father reaching out his hand waiting for him to grab it, but instead he pulled him into a masculine hug, patting him on the back.

Vicky left the tiny room she had called home for a good decade and started walking to the meeting area. She did know the names of the people she was about to travel with but had never bothered to actually talk to them. She had had plenty of opportunities, but human interaction of any sort was draining in Vicky's humble opinion. She seemed to be the first one to arrive.

Riley let go of his father and waved them all goodbye when he stood in the door opening to their tiny house, if you could call it house, and he walked out of there. He was set to meet up with all the others that where going on the mission, he walked through the marketplace getting weird looks from the people he was passing, others just nodded at him as a sign of appreciation.

Vicky introduced herself briefly as she observed the people in the assembled team. She did understand why they'd pick the people they had picked. They needed strong, young people, people that had a chance on the outside but still, weren't exactly vital to surviving on the inside. She kept in the corner, crossing her arms while she looked at someone who she assumed, was supposed to be a "leader" explain the gameplan.

Finally Riley arrived by the meeting point just when Vicky introduced herself briefly. He studied her for a moment and nodded a bit before he introduced himself to the group. He looked a bit at the others trying to place a name on each face, but it wasn't easy as they where all different ages and it was gonna get hard remember all the names.
