As Penny heard the "Hey, Troy", she couldn't help but roll her eyes. The jock sat a few seats behind her as usual, but she paid no attention to him normally. Today, however, she paid him a small glance during class, and couldn't help but get a strange feeling. She quickly pushed the thought out of her mind though. No way she was interested in Troy.
When class ended, she hurried out of class and towards the cafeteria. She was starving, and didn't want to stand in line forever. On her way out of the door, she absentmindedly sent Troy a last, confused glance.

Logan finally reached the classroom he was supposed to be in, and gently knocked on the door and entered, after hearing a "come in". The entire classroom was silent, and the teacher gave him an inquisitive look, before her eyes lit up and she stood up. "Oh, right, we were having a new student today, I completely forgot." She looked at the sheet of paper with a list of the students names, and pointed at the bottom one, nodding to herself in confirmation.
"Uh, yes, sorry I'm late," Logan stammered. "You're Logan?" The teacher asked, brushing off his apology. Logan nodded, and was directed to an empty seat near the door, where he sat down. He gave a shy smile to the person sitting next to him, but was only met with an eye roll. That's what you get for being late, he thought to himself.
Class passed immensely slowly, and when the bell rang, he walked out of class as one of the last people. So far he hadn't made any friends.
