Farrah sighed as she examined her scars in the full length mirror in front of her, realizing the ugliness of them and the useless of them. Yet, she still felt they were necessary. She despised that she always had to cover them up, especially in warmer weather. Quickly, she threw a cardigan over her loose tank top that she had paired with lightly colored jean shorts. After jogging downstairs and getting herself breakfast, she grabbed her backpack and walked out the door. She didn't really look forward to school, since she was mostly the anti-social girl that sat in the corner of the room, but she enjoyed learning. That's what kept her going. That's what she reminded herself everyday as she walked to school. It wasn't very fun, but at least she could get some benefit out of school.
Steven yawned as he woke up to his alarm and sighed lightly. He was right on time, as usual. Shortly afterwards, he had taken a shower and had dressed himself in the casual attire he always wore, a t-shirt and jeans. He felt school wasn't the time to impress anyone with flashy clothes or anything of the sort. Good friends would accept him as the person he was and not someone that he tried to portray. With just one spray of cologne, he was finished and walked to the kitchen. Since Steven had enough time that morning, she decided to eat some breakfast before heading off for school. As he walked out of his house, he ran a hand through his hair, thinking today would be great day. He didn't know why, but he could just feel it. He jumped into his car and sped off to school
