Piper had never been this spontaneous, part of her felt that since she was in a knew place, it meant for a new her. She could really feel herself falling for this guy, he seemed sweet, and so down to earth. She couldn't help but laugh at his jokes, he was funny. She nodded her head when he mentioned that this date was a breath of fresh air. "Oh, I know what youère talking about dork." She laughed and thanked the waiter who brought over her drink. She took a sip from it and smiled, he was right, it was really good. She unwrapped her muffin and popped a small piece into her mouth as she chewed it. "Thanks again for showing me this place, I mean it really is good." She laughed and took another sip from her drink and slipped out her phone for a moment to check her messages. She sighed and then put her phone back in her purse, ever since she had moved, her ex had been spamming her with messages to take him back. "What are you doing today?" She just wanted to get her mind off of things, but knew she wouldn't be able to do it alone. She figured since they were already hanging out, there was no harm in extending their date for a couple hours.

Damon smirked when she said that she needed a drink, he knew exactly where he was going to take her. "Awesome, I can certainly go for a drink...so how about we just drive until we find a suitable place for drinks." He laughed and then walked out to the car with her, he plugged in his phone to ensure he was fully charged for the day. "I'm going to make you in charge of music....but pick something stupid and you lose that power." He winked and started up his car, this wasn't unusual for him, he was a risk taker and rarely said no to anything. He felt bad that he was keeping part of his plan a secret from Eliza, but he knew that if she found out about the two of them staying somewhere together, she would say no in an instant. "So, how are things going between you and Kilan? I mean, I barely see the two of you together anymore..." He stopped himself and looked over at her. He wasn't sure if he was crossing a line or not, maybe he could get the truth from her during their adventure.

So I will not bring it up again if you say no, and as for my plans for later, if you don't mind then my plans will be spending the rest of this lovely day with you," he said with a smile.

Eliza "I am sure I will pick some terrible music in your books, I like country she said playing a Garth Brooks song," she laughed, "Do I loose my privileges now?" When he had mentioned Kilan her heart sank, she looked out the window, she wondered if she should actually open up to someone, Damon was her closest friend so why should she not trust him enough to tell him the truth. She has been keeping things bottled up for so long, she really could benefit from a good listener which she knew Damon was just that. She was just worried if she did try to tell him she would end up crying because of how long she has kept this hurt inside. "Well... Kilan really does mess with your emotions," she said and paused, "He has been leaving me without saying a word, he doesn't want to even kiss me anymore, I just cant understand what I did wrong to deserve this, I suspect he could be cheating, who knows he doesn't even look at me when he gets home, he just goes to bed. It's just.. unfair that I wait for him and he doesn't care about me," she said her eyes tearing up.

She was glad that he didn't have anything to do for the day, she could really just use someone by her side. "Wanna go walk down by the beach?" She asked, not really sure what other fun things they could do. "I've heard it's really nice down there. Or if not, that's fine, I'll do whatever you want to do." She finished her muffin and smiled when he said that he had an idea. "Awesome. Well, I'm looking forward to our day together." She walked out with him. "So is this place walkable to? Or do one of us need to drive?"

Damon grinned when she picked out the music, sure he wasn't a country fan but he didn't mind since he knew it was something that she liked. "No, that's perfectly fine with me." He smiled and kept on driving, he made his way out of the city. This day could not get any better, it was just going to be the two of them - he could be himself around her and not have to worry about what her man might say. He knew that he needed to talk to her, but he also wanted to focus on driving. "I know, it sucks. I just don't understand why you don't kick him out? I mean you just need to get him out of your life for good...you don't deserve someone who ignores you, and only uses you o their own benefit." He sighed not even sure what else to tell her. "What are your thoughts about this all?" He bit his lip and turned down the music so they could keep on talking about the situation.

Which in any other case would worry him for numerous reasons, having to compete, his girlfriend finding out due to a possible encounter with Piper's ex, or mainly just being a rebound. Eliza shifted uncomfortably. She knew yet again he was just trying to help her but she did not know what to say. She doesn't know why he lets her walk all over her. I mean that night where he got angry at her reoccurs in her mind. But other than that, if she had left and hid from him she would be okay. Maybe hid with Damon. Eventually Kilan would move on. It all seems so simple. But all in all, she was stuck with Kilan, he has some sort of power over her like everything bad happens is her fault and she would do almost anything to make him happy. It felt like that was what she was here for. "I honestly don't know the real reason why I stay, I just feel like I need to be there." That was the only explanation that she could give him. How could she possibly explain her reasoning to Damon if she could not explain it to herself, she was so lost and confused about the whole situation. She has been with Kilan for so long its almost like she was his no matter what she did. He could go out and do god knows what with god knows who, but when it came to her she had to be the good girl who stayed home and waited. She had to make sure everything was clean and perfect for him.

Damon sighed as he drove, he didn't know why she wasted her time with him. "I just wish you would see that someone out there could treat you better..." he paused for a moment. "someone like me..." He whispered the last part so that she wouldn't hear him. He would do anything for her, even if it meant leaving town just so that they could get away from Kilan and his crazy-self. He had been around Kilan a few times when he had snapped, it wasn't pretty, and of course it wasn't his place to go and step in. "Why don't you go out and do things? I mean, Kilan goes out and sometimes doesn't even come home. Maybe if you don't come home one night, he will realize how stupid he has been towards you?" He asked as he kept his eyes on the road. He wanted to tell her about his plan of not going home that night, he jsut didn't know how she was going to react.

Eliza thought about everything he was saying, he was seeming to hint towards something, maybe it was obvious but she was not good with judgment lately. She sighed, she knew he was right, she knew she should give Kilan a taste of his won medicine. Maybe he would not be mad this time if she just left and did not return. Maybe he has just completely moved on. I mean he has been going out so much lately maybe he had.. he had really found someone else, someone better than her, she started to tear up, and the more she fought the tears the more they fell down her cheeks. There was no way to hide it now, Damon was going to see and she already began to feel embarrassed about her crying in front of him. She covered her face and looked away so he could not see her.
