Indie smirked ''I think you might be mistaken there Darcy. You're even a snob when it comes to drinking. I don't mind the cheap stuff. And I can pay for myself, thank you very much.'' she said as she reached into her bag and got the money for her drinks out. She didn't want him paying anything for her. As they waited for the drinks she couldn't help but observe him, he was gorgeous. He was the type of man that you wouldn't think actually existed he was that handsome. She just found it sad that someone so handsome was so vile. He had such an awful view of her and her family and anyone else who wasn't as rich and it made her sick. Unlike her mother she didn't act like she was some upper class person, she wasn't and she was never would be. Every penny she had she earned herself. She hated taking from her parents, she wanted to find her own way in this world. That's why she worked the parties and attended them. That's also why she sold clothes and other things that she made. She wanted to be independent. If it was her way she wouldn't even live with her parents anymore, she would be in her own little apartment. ''You don't have to do what Eric says, Darcy. I'm perfectly happy on my own so you go do your thing.'' she said as she paid for her drinks. She grabbed her shots and knocked them back like a pro, not even wincing at the burn in the back of her throat.
Nate leaned against the bar next to her and smirked a little as she spoke. He could tell how much she didn't want him there and it made him want to stay there just to get on her nerves. He chuckled ''Ah, I can tell how much you don't want me here, Violet. So.. I'm going to stay. Eric wanted me to stay so I'll stay.'' he said as he ordered himself a drink and took a seat at the table she was once sat at with her sister. He didn't want to talk to her or get to know her or anything, he just wanted to annoy her with his presence. There was something quite enjoyable about making her angry and seeing her frustrated face.
