Adam dam nodded his head a little, "fair enough for them then I suppose." he shoved another sausage into his mouth. Chewing away at it to distract himself from his utter confusion on the entire matter. "Why don't you like being complimented?" He finally said after he swallowed back his food.

"people like me shouldn't be complimented. i've said it plenty of times. i'm not a nice person, adam."

Adam raised his hands up, "i will not breath another word of the pain you are in" he put them down again to pick up his fork and play about with some bacon before eating it. Swallowing it after several chews before continuing to speak to her. "You undermine yourself and that's sad Lexi. No lady doesn't deserve to be told of her beauty."

Daisy walked down the street feeling agitated. She hurried into the little corner shop and picked up three packets of cigarette and a new lighter. One that had a fire pattern and said burn in hell. It seemed a little funny at the time. She paid for the goods as quick as possible before leaving the shop. She quickly opened one packet and lot up a single cigarette. Resting it against her lips as she walked into unknown area. Partly hoping to find Blake.

Adam just watched her for a little bit before finally going into the living room with enough time to see Daisy walk out. "Is everything okay with her?" He asked Brent as he sat himself down on the armchair. Which just happened to be the closest thing to his Bum.

brent ran his hands down his face, taking in a few deep breaths. he turned to adam when he heard his voice and shook his head. "I honesty have no idea. but I don't think so.. so.. i'm just gonna sit here for a wile and try not to go out and slaughter someone." he bit his bottom lip and sat on the edge of the sofa.

blake was sat in the back, on a bench, legs crossed at the ankles with a simple cigarette burning rather elegantly between his index and middle finger as he observed around the park. to everyone else he looked like your average businessman, well toned and professional in his sherlock-type coat.

lexi stayed in the kitchen, a deep frown set on her face. she crossed her arms over her chest and stared into the living room. she was trying to think of something to say to him. she didn't want to ruin the relationship they had, as she genuinely did like him so much but they were just totally different people. she finally went in, and sat down on the sofa.

".. don't worry about it."

lexi glanced over at him and gave him a feeble smile, then turned back to the tv picking up the remote, tucking her legs beneath her. she flicked through the channels slowly, and left it on how I met your mother. lilypad and marshmellow were the perfect couple.

Adam tried to keep up with what Brent was informing him but it all seemed rather confusing and wolf related so it seemed to make very little sense. "I might not know half of what you just told me but I know, and I'm sure Lexi would agree, that the way Daisy looks at you is enough to know she loves you. And I think love over powers a lot of things. But sometimes women are complicated but if they love and care for you they'll come back. As long as you let them know you'll be their, opened armed."

brent rubbed his face, reaching to the coffee tale he pulled on his beanie hat and frowned leaning back, considering it for a while. maybe that was true. he would always be there if ever she needed him, no matter what happened, he would always be there. he had no other choice. he felt like she was the only woman in the world. she was the only one he wanted.

lexi could hear every word he was saying. she gulped and looked over at him. is that how he felt about her? it was making her heart beat faster, she could feel it in her mouth. she rubbed her eyes. jesus, how could just one person make her feel so emotional and silly. she was tearing up for crying out loud!

Adam looked over towards Lexi and smiled a little. A smile that said 'that's how I feel for you'. however he never could of said that directly to her. He knew he would chicken out or maybe she would stop him. Then he noticed her wipe her eyes, was she crying? He panicked for a moment. Had it offended her?

lexi gave him a sad smile back. she stood up, taking a deep breath, and slowly made her way over to him, until she was stood between his legs. to her, it felt like they were the only two in the room. she could't concentrate on anything except for him. she straddled his legs and slowly leaned in until her head was on his shoulder. hopefully words weren't needed, and this would say it all.

Adam was somewhat stunned by Lexi at first but as soon as she rested her head on his shoulder he wrapped his arms protectively around her. But aware of the pain she was in so he did not squeeze at all. He just held her, glad that he had said what he did. It had proven worth it in the end. She cared for him even if she struggled sometimes to show it. He would always know she would hopefully come back to him. But he knew that Lexi now knew he would always be waiting for her.
