Dymitrius shook his head, letting out a little laugh, not because what she said was funny but it was just his reaction, because everything around them felt stupid. It was just a stupid place to be and he wanted to run away from it all forever. “The longer you’re spending down there the more I can feel you changing and it doesn’t feel like you.” His fingertips traced slowly up her arm, gazing into her eyes, listening to her words and that last sentence broke him. It got to him bad and he fell to his knees, his head in his hands as the tears began to flow. Gabbie raised a eyebrow at her mother. “We both know that’s exactly what he wanted the outcome of this to be. He wants me banished from my angelic beliefs for good, he wants it all to himself and he can’t stand the fact him happy without having to accept my duties.” It was all so complicated, Angel laws and what was allowed but all Gabbie knew was that she hadn’t actually done anything wrong. “But he’s not his father, he’s not even anyways related to the devil. He’s so stuck up his own ass, all of this is bullshit!” She exclaimed, not being able to hold herself back any more, all that anger bursting out. “He shouldn’t have the opportunity. I need to tell them what he’s been up to.. surely someone will believe me.”
