"I made soup", He said and tried to smile, although it probably did not come off as it. The girl looked at him, she seemed awfully suspicious. But he had not been instructed to explain everything to her, so he refrained from it. 
"Where's Dean?" She asked. 
"I don't know Dean." He responded. "If it's an experiment, it will show up soon", He said. He had only ever met two other experiments. One briefly, before he accidentally died after breaking the rules one too many times. And then another one, although he was pretty sure she got transferred to another lab.

"Fine then, we'll just call you.. Monty, give him a name", She said and started inspecting the soup. It seems to be noodles with veggies. The broth was good, although it felt weird just eating something made by a total stranger. 
But hey, it couldn't get any worse, could it?
