Everything happened in a blur. A girl came rushing on rollerskates, knocking right into me. I fell backwards, but quickly used my powers to let the wind push me upwards so I wouldn't fall. The girl grabbed onto a lamp post, and it creaked underneath her touch. Her fingers dug into the metal. I frowned, my eyes fixed upon the fingermarks. How did she do that..?
"It's okay.. Don't worry," I muttered quietly.
A few feet behind her stood a guy, laughing teasingly at the girl. I gave him a dirty look. Or, well, I tried. I've never been much good at them.
"Are you okay?" I return her question.

Marc looked around the park and up at the sky for a moment. All the different types of people in town gathered in one place. People where buying food, drinks and ice cream from the vendors across the park, some couples sitting on the beaches embracing each other and then there where just the loners, like him, sitting in the shadow under the trees.

Marc took up his pack of cigarettes stuffed down in his pocket and pulled up one. He laid the pack down beside him, put the cigarette between his lips and lit it. He took a drag and looked around a bit making sure the smoke would fill his lungs, then i breathed the smoke out.
