Ayah laughed at his silly question. Of course he didn't talk too much, it was just with everything going on, she couldn't fully focus on conversation. "Of course not. Sorry for making you feel like that. It's just so much to take in." Ayah smiled at him as she watched him rub his fingers over her's. She gently laid her head on his shoulder and took a deep breath. "So Alex, are you keeping things up your sleeve as well? Or are you just a pilot that's going to inherit daddy's empire?" She teased. She hoped that Alex was able to take her dark humor. She had ruffled a few feathers in the past with her jokes, and she didn't want to do the same to Alex. She kept looking toward the sunset as she waited on Alex to respond. She prayed that he'd joke back with her instead of getting butt hurt.
Charles grinned from ear to ear. The sight of her in his home just seemed too good to be true. She looked as if she belonged there all along. Charles kept his eyes on her whilst he took a sip of his red wine, he never broke eye contact. "I thought you'd never ask." He laughed a bit before holding his hand out for her to grab. "Come along, Mrs. Wright." He playfully teased. He took another sip of the wine before laughing hysterically. He hoped that he wasn't ruining the moment but he definitely was feeling the alcohol so everything was funny to him. Once Carmen took his hand, he lead her down the hall and to the left. His room had double glass doors. He stood in front of the doors and grinned back at Carmen, "Ready?" He opened the doors and unleashed the massive part of his penthouse that he called his room. It was double the size of Carmen's. It had a long glass window wall. The room had the same theme as the entire house: black, white and gold. Instead of white furniture, his room had a black, tufted leather sofa, with a white faux fur rug. The coffee table was black with gold handles. Charles' California king sized bed had a black, tufted leather headboard to match the sofa. He also had a projector screen and a small bar in the corner of the room. He looked over at Carmen and smiled, "Okay, it's a little better than yours."
