There was something about Damon, she didn't know what but whenever Winnie looked into his eyes she found that she couldn't tear her gaze away. Maybe it was a reaper thing or maybe it just a Damon thing, she wasn't sure. "I know, you were only doing your job, I understand," she said with a nod of her head. With a shaky breath she closed her eyes, sitting back on the sofa as her bottom lip wobbled, "I just, I feel like everybody's leaving y'know? Life's going too fast and my short little legs can't keep up with what's going on," she said with a laugh because if she didn't laugh she would cry. She had to make light of the situation and prepare to move on away from it, like she always did. But this time it seemed to be hitting her harder than it had before. Her eyes shifted to the television screen as she shook her head, "I don't know why you watch this," she said, changing the subject to something a little lighter. Why she was talking to him, she didn't know but she had to get her mind to stop racing around. ~ ~ ~ Kirk grinned slightly at hearing that it was only for privileged people. He turned his gaze from her to the dress lying on the bed as he shurgged lightly, "It's not your style, but I'm thinking you could pull it off," he said, a smile forming on his lips as he looked back at her, looking into her eyes. He paused for a moment, a moment of hesitation before he continued, "In the alleyway, what were you going to say?" he asked her, a little curious as to what she was going to have asked him.
