He glanced over at Ruby, noticing that she was looking at him just for a moment. "your turn to pick someone" he grinned again, trying not to let his best friends confession get him down. Plus, could he blame Clara? Dante was an incredible specimen, probably the most attractive guy he knew.

"I can invite him here if you really want me too Ruby, I'm sure he would be up for something new." Maddie winked, before bursting into a fit of giggles all over again, her best friend always made her like this - a giggling mess. "You know I've got the blow up bed ready and waiting for your drunk ass when we get back." she chuckled, before looking over at Dante. 3 days ago huh? she noted mentally, before looking over at her brother. His little sad face made her giggle more.. though that was likely to do with the alcohol, "DRINK DRINK DRINK! " she chanted childishly at Dante when he picked up the shot that Ryan pushed over to him.

Ruby shook her head quickly. "Noooo thank you inthink you should keep him all to yourself, after tonight I think I'm going off men, well, for a long time anyway. They all suck." She giggled, smiling appreciatively at the mention of the blow up bed. She even had her own pillows and cute blanket at Maddie and Ryan's house now, it was a second home to her and had been since the start of secondary school. Looking back at Ryan, she smiled just a little more and nodded once. Turning away again. He'd caught her staring a few times now and she felt like she was being a bit of a loser. He probably just thought she was his little sisters weirdo friend. "Okay Ryan, truth or dare?" She took a sip of the drink in front of her.

Had.. had she just smiled at him?! Ryan was trying to figure out what the heck was happening between him and Ruby. But something was definitely going on. "hmm that is a tough question." he rested the bottle of beer against his lips for a moment before taking a small sip from the bottle, "ya'know what. I will take a truth because I am a big ol' chicken. " he smiled at her, god she looked rather gorgeous tonight, even more so now she seemed to have cheered up after the ridiculous incident that occured between her and Hunter just earlier on.

Ruby titled her head from side to side as she listened to Ryan. It was almost as if what had happened an hour ago had completely left her mind, she was over it and she didn't even feel a slight bit of heart break. Of course it hadn't upset, in the moment. But she knew deep down she was no longer in love with hunter, and this had been the straw that broke the camels back. She was finally free of him and his wicked ways. "Okay I have one for you. Jumping right into the deep end here, and if you don't answer it's three shots.. what's your biggest secret you've got right now, that even Maddie and Dante don't know about?" She grinned, wondering if he did have any. Would he hide something from his best friend or sister?

Maddie giggled some more as she watched Dante down the two shots, his pupils enlarging as the alcohol instantly hit his system. "you got that right! we will fuck you up." she said in a serious tone, before smiling again. When she felt his hand on her thigh she had to bite down on her lip in order to control herself. "you can just stay with us as well rather than try and wonder home in this state." she said softly, keeping her voice level and calm. Her head turned to look at Ryan, "YOU? YOU TRIED YOUTUBE!" she couldn't help but laugh, "god I wish I had seen that video."

Dantes eyes widened. "Well I didn't expect language like that coming from a young lady. I'd be careful or Ryan will wash your mouth out with soap." He teased, but he had to admit seeing her being just that little bit feisty, even in a joking manne,r he founded it hot. Why was everything about her so damn magical, he drove him crazy. Finishing off his beer he rubbed his eyes, the alcohol flooding through his body, he was no longer sure if his legs would hold him up any more. Turning to Ryan his smirk grew wider and befor he knew it his head was tipped back, laughter falling from his mouth, his hand on his belly as he chuckled. "That's madness, how did I not know about that?!"

Maddie shook her head, "no way, no one is putting soap anywhere near my mouth, why can't he just use mouthwash?" she said with a little laugh, though she could feel her head starting to go a little. She shuffled in her seat and rested her arms against the table, then her head onto her arm. In that moment she realised just how comfortable that spot was and she let her eyes close, just for a moment, she told herself. She let out a small yawn before hearing the sound of the glass placed onto the table and she jumped up a little bit, "huh.." she said, looking around a bit confused.

dante smirked, watching as Ryan filled the glass with all sorts. He could be a little shit at time, that was for sure. Poor ruby, if Ryan wasn't careful the contents of her stomach would be all over his vans. Turning to Maddie, both his brows raised as she fell into a sleepy little world, and he nudged her gently with his foot. Nope, nothing. Sitting back once she lifted her head, he smiled at her. "Looks like it's bed time for the little girlie huh, can't hack being up like a grown up." He teased, ruffling some of his hair about. He could feel his own eyes closing, well, they were definitely blurry already. "If you wanna go home I'll walk you back so Ryan doesn't have to leave. It is his night off after all." He smiled innocently.

Maddie felt almost lost when she woke up, but her face instantly turning at the sight of the drink her brother had made, "jesus thats disgusting." she said with a little pout. But her attention went back to Dante when he offered to help her get home, "I would really appreciate that." she said, pushing her hair back before standing up. "sorry guys for being a party pooper. Ruby feel free to head back now or with Ryan, I don't mind." she said before planting a kiss on her best friends lips, "I didn't forget about that." she said with a giggle before wobbling a little on her feet.

Dante stood up when Maddie agreed to leave, brilliant, maybe just a few more moments to themselves, maybe he'd get a goodnight kiss after all. "Right I'll see you back st yours mate.. unless you're coming along now?" He pulled his phone out his pocket and stared at the screen in an attempt to focus his eyes, rubbing them. It was gone one AM, he felt like he'd barely been there for five minutes. His face smirking, giggling like a naughty school boy. "Wow if I knew we could get some girl on girl action I wouldn't have suggested leaving so soon, I feel like I'm missing out." He moved a little closer to her, tempted to wrap his arm around her. But he couldn't. He couldn't ruin the game when they'd barely started playing. "Come in the trouble." He nodded once at ruby and Ryan and then headed outside, shivering from the cold breeze.

Stumbling along with Dante into the cold night air she moved closer to him once they were far away from view of her brother, "you can at least try and keep me warm in this cold air Mr." she said with a little giggle as she nudged his arm up around her so that she could snuggle up a little closer, while also trying not to go over her ankle in her stupidly high heels.

Dante headed out with her and once safely away from the house,his arm wiggled over her shoulder, pulling her into his side and pressing his lips to the top of her head. "Pure and perfect in your cute pinky lacy lingerie making out huh, sounds cute." He teased, his lips curving into a dirty smirk as he led her back to her house, the arm that was around her slipping down so it was more around her waist and he had a better chance of holding her up in the damn heels that were just about clinging to her feet. "Well we haven't even had our first date yet I wasn't sure you'd want my hands on you." He teased, heading round the corner and into her estate. "After you, fair maiden." He nodded his head to the front door.

Maddie rolled her eyes at Dante's statement, "have you been looking through my underwear drawers when I'm not in!?" she said with a giggle, only kidding around with him. The more they walked the closer her feet came to giving up, heels were a ridiculous idea as it turned out. Finally she tripped and nearly entirely fell but thanks to Dante's arm around her she didn't. "fuck this." she mumbled, bending down and taking her heels off and holding them in her hand, "that didn't stop you earlier tonight dante." she said, a smile coming across her face when she saw her front door, "YAY" she squealed, running up and unlocking the door. As they slipped inside she saw her dad slumped over in the arm chair with a bottle of beer in his hands, "you'll need to move dad, the sofa will be getting slept on tonight." she pulled on Dante's hand and headed up the stairs and into her bedroom.

Maybe her vision wasn't so clouded now, her Hunter mask had been ripped off and she had a fresh look on life. "I don't want to go back to him.. I don't want that. My bones ache and my heart hurts and I just want to be happy. I don't want to be scared." She smiled at Ryan, feeling her cheeks go a little pink, realising they'd been holding hands far longer than they needed to. His fingertips brushing her cheek, but she didn't flinch. "That wouldn't be so bad I guess." Her smile grew, but eventually, she let her fingers loosen from him.

Ryan could feel himself becoming lost in Ruby's eyes, he had never looked at her in this light. She seemed mature now, in comparison to the young girl he knew growing up and running around his house playing cops and robbers with his little sister. Now Ruby was this stunning woman and he couldn't quite understand why he had never seen her for her until now. He quickly cleared his throat when she moved her hand away from his, "Good.. because you shouldn't go back.. not good because your bones ache! " he added quickly, starting to almost get nervous and bashful. "You know, although tonight wasn't quite what we hoped it would be, I have a really good feeling about this weekend. because today was the start of something new."
