"you're the one who agreed to buying lunch and you know what kind of needs I have!" he began driving home slowly, humming along to the radio. "I full on hope I pull a hot chick tonight. and not a dead one, again, like last time." he shook his head, laughing.

poppy got in the ca with them all, resting her shopping bag between her feet, she leaned back, rather exhausted. moving all that furniture and shopping had really taken it out of her. "okay, I might be having a bit more of an early night than you guys, if that's okay. i'm tired already!" she laughed slightly, glancing over at adam, she smiled, before looking out of the window.

poppy scrunched her nose up a little at what serenity said. it wasn't that she was a prude, but poppy simply believed in making sure the person was the right one, and not making any mistakes. her eyes couldn't stop focusing on all the people around her now, noticing how different they were compared to her. it really did fascinate her. "I guess I should start getting ready" she unlocked the door with her shiny new key, and headed for the bathroom quickly.

"I definitely need to start getting ready, i have dibs on the shower first" he chuckled, stepping into the heart and running to the shower. Getting in with a blink of an eye.

poppy squealed as adam quickly rushed past her and into the shower. "hey, I was gonna use that!" she frowned and crossed her arms over, but then quickly fell silent. she scampered off to her room and plonked herself on her bed, yawning. she took off her crop top and jeans, and pulled out her clothes from the shopping bags, hanging them up on the doors of her wardrobe so they wouldn't get too creased. she put a towel around her body, waiting for the shower.

He smirked, gazing at Serenitys body when she walked past.

poppy smiled brightly when he had finished and quickly made her way into the bathroom before anyone else could get in the way. she shut the door and put her towels on the toilet lid, and then took her underwear off too. she quickly got under the hot water and washed her body, as well as her hair, and let herself relax for a moment. but soon she had to get out, and so she wrapped a towel around her hair as well as her body, and quickly went back to her room, so that no one saw her in that state.

Adam wondered aimlessly into his room where he finished off drying both his hair and his body. He pulled out a fresh pair of black boxers and slipped them on his body before pulling on his new black skinny jeans. They went with his hair rather well and complimented his paler skin tone. Finally, he put on his shirt and buttoned it up all the way to the top. Perfect, he thought.

poppy closed her bedroom door and sighed with relief. she was very self conscious about her body, though she had no reason to be. she dried off her body and sprayed on some deodorant, and then put some floral body lotion on. she slipped on some nicer underwear, along with the dress she had purchased, and checked herself out in her full length mirror. "you can do this, poppy.." she whispered to herself, before she began to dry, and then curl her brunette hair.

"why are you even debating doing something different with your hair?" he said to himself before styling it the same way he always did. It had been styled like that for a couple of centuries now, and no way would he ever go back to the times of hair being long.

poppy applied her make up - a simple winged smokey ye with bright red lipstick. she put on the jewelry she had purchased, and finally, her outfit was done, apart from the heels of course. she took in a deep breath and smiled, hoping she would look okay. she scratched her shoulder, before heading out of her room, standing there awkwardly. would adam mind if she went and bothered him again? it was strange, she had grown some sort of attachment to him.

Slowly he stood up and opened the door to see her. "wow.." he said softly, "you look incredible Poppy." he said, a smile growing on his face. But not a creepy 'mm sexy' type of a smile, a genuine 'holy shit she looks beautiful' smile.

I mean it's not as good as a suit but it's almost." she giggled and bit her lip, leaning in the doorway a little bit. "i'm not really sure why I came to bother you.."

Adam laughed a little, "I know you didn't, I could sense you were there, as odd as it sounds." he smiled a little, laughing just a tad when she tried to pull the dress down, "perfect." he nodded, fixed with his opinion on her in the dress. "Why thank you," he said before doing a little twirl, "and that's because you aren't bothering me. Come in." he said with a smile, moving out of the way so she could enter his room. Which had a large book case that covered one wall entirely, a small bed in the corner he barely used.

"your room is really nice. you have a wonderful book case." she went over, running her fingers along the spines of several books. it was nice to find a gentleman who was so down to earth. she turned her head to him, feeling his eyes on her. "I guess we should get going soon."
