Adam watched her run her fingers along his books ( ;D ), the way she walked and the way her hips moved was incredible to him. "why thank you, some of them are centuries old. So I'd be careful if you ever want to read one." he nodded his head in agreement, "ladies first, of course." he directed his hand towards his bedroom door.

Adam chuckled when she asked the question, "now that would be telling, wouldn't it. Put it this way, I was a viking." and he left it at that, waiting for her to grab her shoes and he stuffed his wallet away and pulled on his rather stunning looking leather jacket. He let her walk down the stairs first, in case he needed to catch her. But it gave him a perfect opportunity to gush over how sexy her legs looked. Damn, he thought.

poppy could feel his eyes burning into her and she felt a tad awkward because of it. she just was not used to that kind of attention from anyone. she put her small bag over her left shoulder and smiled at serenity. "thank you.. I know they're not much compared to yours but I like things plain and simple." she headed towards the front door, rubbing her lips together to make sure her lipstick was even.

Adam rolled his eyes at Wesley's adorable comment, "well lets get going!" he said with a large grin as they all headed out. He kept a close eye on Poppy and the people around them. He knew tonight would be difficult, controlling his urges around her but he would try his darn best.

poppy went inside, still quite fearful of the idea of a club. this was the first time she had ever been inside one and the music was deafening. she glanced around, biting her bottom lip hard, before going over to the bar, where everyone else seemed to be congregating for the moment. she dug her nails into the palm of her hand, trying to calm herself down a little. but it felt as if all eyes were on her.

poppy frowned as she looked at him. "i'm scared.." she admitted, moving a little closer to him. he was all she really had at that moment, after both serenity and wesley had parted off to wherever. "I don't want to be here, I don't like it." she said quickly, her heart racing a little. it was unknown territory and she had no idea how to act. being around creatures that weren't human didn't help, either.

"a drink would be nice, thank you, if you don't mind. double vodka and coke." she sighed, running her fingers through her loose curls, she looked up at him, frowning. "no, I don't want to let you guys down, that would be ridiculous. I guess it will get easier." she said quietly.

"That sounds good to me." he gave her a small smile before ordering another round of drinks for them. "Of course, but I suppose we are all different at the end of the day. A lot of people in this room are more or less jealous of what you are."

"i'm not sure why they would want to be what I am. i'm boring."

Harry was in Serenity's room, his hands all over her body. Beginning to run his finger under her dress, which is when her mind snapped out of it. A black ball of light forming from her body. It blasted Harry against the wall where he hit his head off something. His body lying limp against the wall. She felt her eyes focus on his body, her heart racing. What had she done.. Her body went into a panicked frenzy and she reached for the door.

Adam let his eyes run along her as he downed his second drink. "I would love to be a human again. I mean look at you, you are absolutely breathtaking" he ordered another round and once they had been downed he put his hand against hers. His were larger compared to her dainty fingers. He could feel the blood rushing within them.
