She just wanted to go somewhere with Jacob and have a cuddle and a kiss but she knew she probably wasn't going to get that, not tonight anyway. Thea was looking forward to seeing how Harriet reacted because if she started an argument she sure as hell wasn't going to back down. It was the only way she could sort of protect Jacob from her and she wanted to do that for him.

Seb bit his lip as he watched her. He could tell that she was thinking hard and it made him want to know what was going on inside of her head. Was she thinking happy or sad thoughts? He was guessing that she wasn't happy from the way that she looked. He hated that, he wanted her to be happy. But he knew his family would only cause problems for her and it made him so angry. He smiled a little when she asked why he asked her to dinner. He nervously ran his hand through his hair before squeezing her hand with the other one. ''Because I like you.'' he whispered, watching her face for her reaction. He was about to say something else when he heard Harriet's angry voice and he noticed Harriet's angry glare directed at Thea.

Jacob hadn't expected Thea's little outburst and it shocked him so much he choked slightly on his sip of wine. He quickly set the glass down but his free hand was then grabbed by Harriet as she began to go off at Thea. He couldn't believe how rude she was being to her. How his parents would want her to be queen, he just didn't understand it at all. But he wasn't going to sit there and let her slate Thea. "Harriet, apologize right now. How dare you treat her like this-" Before he could even finish though, Thea had chimed in. There was clearly no stopping her now because he could tell she was beyond pissed off, especially with the way she was holding his hand in a death grip. As much as he didn't want them to fight, he knew it would be great to see Thea put Harriet in her place. He had no doubt that Thea could fight back just as hard.

Ava couldn't quite believe the words the Sebastian just said. He liked her. He really liked her. It sent the butterflies in her stomach into a frenzy as her heart beat picked up slightly. All this time she believed he hadn't liked her but that wasn't the case at all. However, before she could even speak back to him, Harriet began shouting across the table at Thea. Her perfect moment with Seb was ruined, she couldn't exactly tell him she liked him too while they were all shouting at each other. Although, she was just glad that everyone's attention was now off of her, especially his parents who seemed so shocked to have her sitting at the table with them. Of course, it was strange for her too. Dinning with the very people she worked for day and night was a strange experience but she wouldn't trade it for anything because here she was sat beside Sebastian and that's all she ever wanted.

Seb's eyes widened as he watched the argument unfold, sighing a little because he wouldn't get to find out if Ava liked him back. He listened though, becoming angry at the words Harriet spoke about Thea, he glanced over at his brother, wondering how he would handle the situation. He knew it was going to be tough not to try and protect the woman he loved when the person she was arguing with was the woman he was suppose to love. He grinned when Thea gave it back to Harriet though. He stood and locked eyes with Ava, nodding towards the door. He knew they would be able to sneak away now with everyone focused on the argument. He walked towards the door and waited for Ava to join him. He really hoped she would like him back, he was scared that she wouldn't so he was kind of excited to get to spend time with her alone to find out.

Harriet's face grew bright red in embarrassment. How dare some commoner just talk to her that way. She couldn't believe how disrespectful Thea had been to her, a princess and a soon to be queen. However, now she expected Jacob to stick up for her. He shouldn't let his princess be spoken to so disrespectfully. She squeezed Jacobs hand and shot him an angry look, almost threatening him to speak up for her as she turned back to Thea with a dark glare. However, as she waited for Jacob to but in, he never did. In fact she watched him give Thea an impressed look, as if he were happy about what was just said about her. She glared at him, leaning across the table. "What kind of prince are you not to stick up for your princess? You can't let her get away with that. I expect her to be out of here by tomorrow morning or i'll personally do it myself. I will not be spoken to in such a way or treated with such disrespect." Her eyes then averted to Thea. "I hope your happy Thea. If you'd just kept your mouth shut maybe you could have stayed and had a nice time pretending to be one of the royals but no you had to open that big ugly mouth of yours and start all of this." She rose from the table and cleared her throat, "Excuse me." She said to his parents before turning away and strutting off out of the room before anyone could say another word.

Jacob had never been so proud of Thea before in his life. He never doubted that she could fight back but he didn't expect her to be this good at putting Harriet in her place. A wide grin broke out onto his face once Harriet left the room and he shot her a look. "I'm so happy your here. That look on her face was priceless. I'm so proud of you for sticking up for yourself like that." He whispered to her as his parents sat there still figuring out the situation. "And as for her expecting you to leave, don't worry. Your staying here for the time we agreed. She will deal with it, i'll speak with her later." He spoke aloud to the table, not wanting to look suspicious by whispering anymore to her. With that being said he took a sip of his wine and looked down at the food that had been placed in front of them all. "Shall we eat before it get's cold. I think we've had enough drama for now."

Ava couldn't help but smile when she watched him walk over to the door, nodding for her to join him. Everyone at the table was so focused upon the bickering between the girls that they didn't notice her or Sebastian exiting the room. She rose from her seat and quickly headed towards him before slipping out of the room. She grabbed hold of his hand gently, biting her lip as a smile grew on her lips. "Let's go outside to the gardens. It's beautiful out there at night time." She told him before squeezing his hand gently and beginning to walk off in the direction of the entrance out to the gardens. She was desperate to finish their conversation but figured it best to talk somewhere more private and away from everyone else.

Thea squeezed Jacob's hand and tried not to laugh as Harriet get redder and redder when Jacob didn't stand up for her. It made her heart swell with happiness that he didn't. Thea shook her head and rolled her eyes "oh I am happy. Someone around here needs to give you a dose of the truth and I'm happy that I'm the one who did it. But trust me, I could have gone on and on. Thank god I thought you might be mad at me for saying stuff like that. I'm sorry I went off like that I just couldn't hold it in, she's even more horrible than I expected and she treated you like shit." She whispered as she shook her head "I'm just mad at myself because your parents probably think I'm crazy and probably don't like me. I don't know Jake, I don't know if I can handle another few days in her company without ripping her hair out, I don't want to look even worse in front of your parents. Maybe I should just stay at a hotel? There's one round the corner right?" She whispered, finishing her wine and getting herself another one. Thea nodded "Definitely, let's eat. This food looks amazing." She said as she picked her knife and fork up and began to eat, sighing in happiness at how good the stuffed chicken that was stuffed with sausage meat and wrapped in pancetta tasted

Once they had all finished eating she smiled at Jacob "what do we do now? Sit and chat or are we suppose to leave the table now?"

Seb smiled when she followed him, and his smile turned to a grin when she took his hand in hers "It is beautiful out there isn't it? Although I have to say, it's not as beautiful as yoh." He said as he sent her a dazzling smile that had all the women going crazy. He let her lead him outside and smiled, it was really beautiful. He held her hand "Let me take you to a secret spot." He said as he took her hand and led her down a little path that lead to a beautiful white bench with flowers and fairy lights draped over it. It was bench in memory of his aunt who had been very close to growing up and not many people knew it was there. He only took people he cared about to thag bench. "So, I asked you to dinner because I really do like you, Ava. So much so that I'm willing to break the rules if you feel the same."

Ava's cheeks heated as she blushed at his previous comment on how beautiful she was. Having been stuck in this job for most of her life meant she didn't have much of a social life, so no men ever really noticed her. Not until now. His dazzling smile made her heartbeat skip and she could have just melted into his arms right then. Even if what he said was one of those cheesy over used lines, it still got to her just like he had planned it would. She followed him outside, through the gardens via a secret passage she'd never explored before. But what she saw next had her smile growing brighter as she squeezed his hand gently. It was stunning. A beautiful bench surrounded by tree's that were decorated with fairy lights with rows of rose bushes circling it. "This is so amazing Sebastian....I-I've never seen anything so breathtaking before." She followed him over to the bench where they both took a seat beside each other, still hand in hand and gazing into each others eyes. What he spoke next, she couldn't quite believe. He'd confessed his feelings and would happily break all the rules that were against them if she felt the same. She never imagined herself falling in love, let alone having a prince go against his king and queen to be with her. "You do like me? I always thought you hated me. You'd never look me in the eye or give me much of your time but now I understand that you were just trying to keep a distance." She lifted her hands up to his face, gently cupping it as she moved in closer to him. "I fell for you the moment I first saw you, I never thought in a million years would I be here."

After finishing their meal, Jacob decided it was best to excuse both himself and Thea from the table so that they could talk properly without worrying about his parents hearing. He lead her through the doors and decided to take her to his study because he knew that no one would bother him there. "I thought it best to excuse us so we can have some time alone. I can't go back to that bitch yet because she's probably still raging. I just wanted some time alone with you. Plus we need to talk about some stuff." He explained, leading her into his study before shutting the door behind them. He walked her over to the small, plush couch before sitting down and pulling her into his arms. "You mentioned about leaving to go and stay at a hotel....do you really want to do that? I know it sucks having to be near her but at least we can sneak about the house a lot easier you know? But I understand if you wish to leave. I'll have someone book you a room, just say the word." He told her, placing a soft kiss onto her head as his arms wrapped tightly around her waist. "You know, I was so glad you stood up to her like that. Someone needed to put her in her place. Now she knows that she can't mess with you." He smirked, giving a slight chuckle as he gazed down at her. He already missed Australia, how easy life was for them when they had been there. They could be careless and just spend days in each others arms without having to hide how they feel or what they want. He wished he could have just stayed there with her forever.
