Rio had been lying in bed all morning and some of the afternoon too. He had had a tough night with disturbed sleep and it wasn't before he opened his eyes that he realized that it was getting late. Where was his phone? He looked around for it, but couldn't seem to find it, until he heard a thud. And there it was, face down on the floor. Luckily he wasn't afraid of it being broke, as it was and old phone. The floor would probably have been more likely to break.
When Rio turned on the screen he saw the digital clock, it was getting late. Much later than he anticipated so he started running around, finding his clothes and everything so he could to the meeting. He would get so late, and it wouldn't even be fashionable late anymore. All eyes on him hmm.
A few minutes went by, then Rio was ready to leave. He hurried out the door without even greeting his mother and started running. He had never run this much in his entire life, but he had to hurried. After a few pauses to catch his breath he finally stood infront of the door, but he didn't go in. He felt bad for getting this late, and he was to embarrassed to even pull the doorknob.
