darcy shook her head quickly. "I love you so much, I couldn't just let them do that. "i'm sorry okay, I don't mean to be scared.. but please don't go.. don't just leave me. I can't do this on my own. i'm in a new place, and there's people I don't know. I just really need you. please, kez." she said, almost begging him, her arms outstretched.

A murder." his voice cracking as he sat back down and put his head in his hands "You don't need me, your much better off without me lovely and I need to go turn myself in. I need to Be arrested for what I did." He said as he stood up, his hands shaking.

darcy was distraught. "no, you can't! you'll be locked up for years and I won't have anyone else. I don't want to move on and have someone else, I want YOU and you don't understand!" she sobbed, trying to get out of the bed, but her leg was in a hell of a lot of pain. she glared at him, holding onto the bed tightly. "I jumped in front of the bullet for a reason, and this wasn't it. you can't just walk away from me now, kieran." she demanded.

I don't want you to live in fear of me, I want you to be happy. I do understand that you want me but you can't when your scared of me, you flinch when Im near you." He sighed "I didn't want you to jump infront of my bullet Darcy, I would rather me be hurt than you. I hare that you were shot because of me."

darcy frowned and shook her head. "i'm not scared of you! i'm scared of what happened but I know that you wouldn't hurt me. you're the only person who has looked after me like you do." she crossed her arms tightly over her chest and glared up at him. "what, did you just expect me to watch you get killed? there's no way I was gonna let that happen!" she said, raising her voice more than she wanted to. "you can't go to the police, kieran, you can't do that. you're being selfish." she told him.

If I had run like you told me to I don't even want to tell you what would have happened." He said as he wrapped his arms around her "I don't know but I didn't expect you to take the bullet for me. Thank you, if it was the other way round I know I would have done the same. I love you." He said as he looked at her. He nodded "I won't but what if someone finds out Darcy?" He asked.

"I promise kieran. it was just scary, i've never sen you like that but i'm not scared, honestly." she felt relief as she finally felt his arms around her, it was a nice feeling, to know he wasn't mad at her, like she thought he was before. "I would have been able to get away, eventually, but i'm just so glad it's all over now." she rested her head on his shoulder, closing her eyes. "no one will find out. your friends won't grass on you, will they?" she frowned suddenly, looking up at him.

Hopefully it will all be ok now and we can just forget this happened. How's your leg?

"it's okay.. at least it isn't so bad." she glanced down at herself a shrugged. she felt bad at that moment, the lowest she had been for a while. her hair was luggy, her make up smudged, her skin pale. it wasn't nice. she leaned her head on him and closed her eyes for a while, her hand going up his shirt to rest on his chest and tummy. "it hurts a lot. I won't be able to walk on it for a while but i'll survive." she shrugged.

darcy cuddled into him, she really hadn't been like this for a long time - she was just extremely glad that she had kieran to make things a little better. "it wasn't you who put me in that position. well it kind of was but.. I forgive you." she kissed his hand and then snuggled into him some more, shivering slightly. "please promise me kieran, you're never going to go off with any of those girls.." there was just a small feeling in the pit of her stomach.

She said as she cuddled into him, giggling a little as he kissed down her neck "If she isn't fond of you now I will be angry, she will be so much better off now. "you wouldn't have had a little spoon if anything had happened." she smiled, it was one of their inside jokes, one of their things, because of have cuddly they were. she nodded slowly as she listened, closing her eyes for a while, her head resting on his shoulder. "you're so sweet."

"at least I have my big spoon nearly all the time now that we're at the same university. no one there knows what has gone on, right?" she raised an eyebrow, being squished when he hugged her, but it was a nice feeling. she lay there for a while before nodding. "okay then, just get a couple of things, that'll do." she climbed off his lap, wincing slightly and kissed his cheek and sat down on the bed.
